LICKS® only uses all natural ingredients, and when available organic ingredients are used. All of their ingredients are sourced in the Americas.

Does the all natural chicken flavor contain chicken protein? My cat is allergic and can only have chicken flavored treats if the proteins are hydrolyzed.

Licks all-natural chicken flavor is derived from thermo-heated, human grade chicken broth. Essentially, the high temperature burns off the protein, leaving only the savory chicken flavor behind. Licks have had their products tested on dogs and cats with known chicken allergies, and they have been deemed safe. That said, no two pets are the same in terms of their sensitivity. It is recommended to consult your vet before use.

Didn’t work for us

My cat is usually into soft food and sips but she couldn’t stomach this one. One sniff and it’s a no. Kinda sad cuz I was looking for a good gel rather than dry

I have been giving my Orion supplements for a couple of years now, since I noticed him slowing down and not jumping on chairs or the window bed. I started him in Cosequin for cats and a multivitamin paste. The improvement was rather astounding and he now is back to himself Then company making the vitamin paste changed their formula and he was not fond of the change so I decided to try Licks. I give him a packet in the late morning with his B12 supplement and he LOVES it. I am pleased with this product.

Wonderful!

My geriatric cat loves these. They don't upset his stomach, and he just gobbles it right up! (I mix this with half of a chicken broth pouch and a Hartz Squeeze Up

My geriatric cat loves these. They don't upset his stomach, and he just gobbles it right up! (I mix this with half of a chicken broth pouch and a Hartz Squeeze Up stick for a treat) He's not as lethargic, seems to not be as ravenous for dinner, and also helped his coat a bit.

Good to have on hand

I have a chronically ill cat and when he is feeling low I can water this down and make sure he is getting the nutrition he needs. Always have some on hand.
