How much iodine is in a can of Core turkey and duck recipe. We have a cat with hyperthyroidism and he needs low iodine, but food high in protein and fat.

Are the cans bpa free?

All Wellness plastic cups and cans are now BPA-free. Previously, the lids on their 12.5 ounce and 13.2 ounce sizes were the last to transition to BPA-free. To confirm that a 12.5 ounce or 13.2 ounce can is BPA-free, please look for an expiration date of March 2021 or later.
can I mix the Wellness core pate flavors to form one case of the same brand?

Bad batch/new recipe?

My cats have been eating this for years, and I have it on autoship. However, none of my 3 cats will touch the food from the most recent case I received. Had to get a refund from chewy and won’t order again. It looks and smells fine, but there’s certainly something aversive to cats in the batch I received.

Changed recipe

I was buying this food religiously due to my cats chicken allergy. However, they recently changed the recipe (smaller can in photo) and it now includes chicken. Disappointed since now I will have to find a new brand of wet food for my cats.

Luna loves it!

Have several cats with digestive problems and allergies, most of the other products that help with these problems my cats hate the taste. Luna and Red loves this food, they also loves Wellness cord Duck, both work for her sensitive digestive system and allergies. It’s not 100% but she is much better, most of my cats will eat it, but do to cost it’s too expensive to feed to my other 6 healthy cats, just can’t afford this food.

Tolerable

I have an elderly cat with mega colon so I was in the hunt for an easily digestible food for her. I found this food recommended. I rotate the food in with another brand with pumpkin in it that she will eat but not enthusiastically because it is not a fish base. She will consume this but not consistently . I will not order this again.

My Kibble Monster Approves

This is one of the few healthier foods that my cat will gladly eat without any mix-ins. The pate is not dry at all; this recipe is just very rich. A bonus is that it mixes well with water and turns into an almost creamy mousse that seems just as palatable if not more palatable than the food by itself. More hydration is always great!

Kitty won't eat it...

I tried Wellness CORE because I heard that a grain-free diet is good for sphynxes and this was highly rated. Unfortunately... he hates it. Won't eat it at all. :(

Unfortunately even my not picky cat dislikes it

My 1 year old girl is usually happy to eat anything and any flavor, but turns her nose up at this turkey & duck recipe. It's very firm out of the can so I always mix with some water, but even then she only eats a little bit (if she's hungry enough) before walking away. Even my other cat who usually loves stealing her food never touches it. Not sure what it is about this recipe but unfortunately neither of my cats likes it.

Acceptable to Gracie

Gracie has only recently started to eat this along with her other food selections. I don't think she is a big fan of the duck hallf of the food, but will eat it as a last resort if hungry.
