We have a 17 year old cat with chronic renal disease. He has a big appetite but throws up quite a bit. We are working with a vet to find ways to reduce vomiting and one thing that seems to be working is this food. We've tried EVERYTHING and this one seems to be the best so far. He loves it, eats a lot, but is barfing less. Highly recommend!
I have 3 cats that really enjoy Applaws Chicken in Broth, that is actual chicken that is shredded. The "shred" on this food is very thick, so my cats mainly just licked up all the gravy and left the main part of the food alone. It doesn't look like/feel like firm pressed pate either. My cats love Wellness pate, but their shredded canned food has a very weird look/texture.
My fur baby absolutely loves this canned food. It is overall better for him than other cans like we usually find in stores and online (Friskies, Science Hills, Etc.)
This product was significantly more expensive and my cst wouldn't eat it. He licked some of the gravy, but wouldn't eat it. It bears no resemblance to chicken.
My male cat Chuey was vomiting too often. I changed his food to Wellness Core from Fancy Feast and he hasn't been sick since.
Tried this to see if I could provide a better quality food for my three cats. One did eat it, the other two didn’t
My boy cat of 7 years liked his new food. It smells good and the ingredients are good. Change diet slowly to prevent tummy and litter box problems.
Have a very fussy cat when it comes to her wet food and she will always eat this product and no waste.
Have been buying this for about one year as I am trying to have my cat eat better. She likes it generally but then will have a day when she won't touch it. I have taken to chopping it up and may try the minced in my next order. She is older and I wonder if it is too rich for her.
I finally got the cats to finish this food. Only one of them would eat it and he had to be very hungry. I was just trying out something different.
