I bought it for my cat Cocoa so I could groom her. One problem. She refuses to eat it and so do my other cats. The hunt continues to find something she will eat so I can (hopefully) groom her. The two star rating isn't for how good the product works. It's because of the taste. My cats don't like it.
It only is if your cats likes them. I split a packet between my babies before anything that may be considered stressful and they eat it up like the best treat in the world but I also know others who have cats that literally run from it so it is definitely worth a try but keep in mind it does seem to be an acquired taste however it does seem to do the job
I ordered this a while ago. I have five cats. Not one of them will even entertain a lick of them. They do not like them at all!!! I've tried a couple times thinking they might not have wanted them that day but maybe another but no go. They do not like them at all. Even the smell of them. Waste of money.
Unfortunately my cat wouldn’t touch these. It also came separated and was difficult to mix as intended as a lickable treat
At first our 16 y/o neurotic cat didn't consistently like these. But she enjoys the whole packet like a treat and it starts to calm her into a relaxing nap right away.
I really hoped this would work because my cats love liquid treats. No luck- they wouldn't even taste it and it wouldn't stay on their paws long enough for them to lick it off (they would flick it off). I was surprised because the scent is like canned cat food and they love that. It could very well be an effective product, but since they won't taste it or let me put it on their paws, I'm back to square one.
This seems to be working quite well for my two teeny alpha female cats. They are more chill and grumbling less as long as they get this every day. It's definitely worth a try if you have an anxious cat!
I ordered this on my sister's recommendation. When I opened up the packet I had my cat take a sniff and she started to lick the goopy stuff off my finger immediately. Woo hoo! I'm excited to find something I can offer her when she's going in for a vet visit or when we trim her nails. I highly recommend trying this if you have a cat who tends to be anxious at times. My sis also says to refrigerate packs cause they thicken up better.
My sweet kitty Audrey gets stressed out when it's time to trim her claws. She won't eat this gravy in a dish, but I can smear it right on her paw so she licks it off. It kicks in pretty quickly and lasts just long enough to get her nails trimmed without a fuss. It makes the experience much more pleasant for both of us. We also used it when we traveled on a plane. She was pretty stressed out in the travel carrier and the zen licks kept her distracted by cleaning herself and calm.
My cats won't even try it. No matter how envious. I'd stop insulting the product, but 50 characters are required. This stuff is a waste of money. I have 2 cats, neither went for it. Am I done yet? Guess not. Not what I meant to order either, not a pleasant surprise.
