The directions say one packet a day. Repeat 3-4 times a day. So do you divide the packet into 4 servings or is one packet needed each time?

Please see the pictures on the product page for the feeding guide. The directions say to repeat every 4-6 hours as needed. For pets under 15 pounds 1 packet per dose and for pets over 15 pounds 2 packets per dose.

Is it a liquid or food??

This supplement has a gel like consistency but it can be refrigerated to thicken.

All of my cats hate it

One cat did eat it but then threw it up, along with some food. The other two wouldn't even taste it and turned away in disgust. It's super oily and stinky as well, and the little packets leak all over your hands unless you carefully cut it open.

It works almost too well

My cat gave it a try and ate roughly 3 quarters of one packet and within 15 minutes he visibly relaxed, became very lethargic and malleable. Perfect for grooming, he stayed put through it all! However he remained this way for a while, at least a few hours, and didn't return to normal until after a cat nap. Now that he knows what I'm up to, he seems very hesitant to eat it, especially directly from my hand. I may have broken some trust between us, but knowing what I know now, I drop a few drops onto a snack plate and make myself scarce only to return when he foolishly eats it again. I may need to change tactics regularly to disguise my intentions but moral of the story: these things can pack a punch! My cat weighs 10 pounds and is 3 years old if this information helps.

works - mix with wet food!

i've used this product for VERY long car rides and for vet visits. my cat will only eat it if i mix it thoroughly with wet food. it helps take the edge off for sure but not completely (pretty sure my cat is borderline feral). def worth a try.
