For the best fit, we recommend measuring your pet's chest girth. To measure chest girth, measure your pet's chest around the widest part. Add 2 inches for comfort. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two. The Petite X-Small fits a chest girth measuring 8-10 inches and the Petite Small fits a chest girth measuring 10-12 inches.

Does this particular item "mesh step in" harness have velcro in the back and then the added clip?
