Bought it because I had just gotten a new kitten & needed something cheap. With the ease of quick release in case he got into anything. Now that he’s turning a year old this week & finally able to use a high quality big boy collar. I can say that it’s actually pretty good to last almost a year from purchase until your kitten is ready for a better collar. But be forewarned about the bell, it tarnished easily from either it being in your cats mouth, dipping into their water fountain or getting wet from quick clean up baths. And it was way to quiet 6 months in to owning the collar. So I highly recommend replacing the bell but the collar is just fine to use for their first adventurous year!

Dangerous: only purchase with caution and use with supervision

As another user has already mentioned, this collar can be dangerous especially without adequate supervision. After sizing using the standard two finger rule, my 5 month old kitten quickly got the collar stuck in her mouth. The elastic seems to allow the collar to losen quite easily, especially as cats will often try to remove an unfamiliar collar. Additionally, the breakaway clip had to be pulled apart manually to remove the collar. If this collar is meant to be sized differently or is ment for a specific size of kitten, that information should be made far more clear to buyers as a failure to do so is a major safety concern. Already when I had made this purchase I only allowed my kitten to wear it supervised; If others decide to give this collar a shot despite these negative reviews I would at the very least suggest they do the same.

Comes off way too easy

Got this one only a couple months ago and it’s already lost. The collar the tags everything. Definitely not happy about that. Especially since our other animals

We use for keeping track of tiny chi pups who are running amuck playing underfoot in free time. Bells are loud enough to hear and easy on and off clasp.
