This is actually neither vacuum or ball. It is a valve, it is like a little backwards nail that the animal licks.

To access their water, rabbits simply manipulate the stainless steel ball at the end of the tube.

Great Water bottle

We have been using this water bottle for years and absolutely loved the plastic holder it came with and shows in the picture. The last one I received came with a crappy wire holder like the other water bottles and is harder to get on and off. Very disappointing need to update your ad for this product!

Leaks

The bottle seems to just leak immediately. Left a big wet spot underneath it.

Only for larger animals

I bought this for a chinchilla because it came up in the small animal search for chinchillas. I thought the larger bottle would be nice with the cap to just refill but two issues. The first time to open the cap to fill it, the plastic gets that white color so you know the plastic is stretching so I am sure that little knob wont last very long but the bigger issue is that it doesn't have a roller ball but it is more of a metal bar that has to be moved and the smaller animals tongues don't seem to be able to move it so I am going to need to order a new one with the roller ball.

Leaks constantly

I bought several of these just a couple weeks ago and going to have to find another brand to replace them they leak constantly. I definitely do not recommend

Awful Product

Water bottle leaks like crazy. The whole think leaked out in the tank in a couple of hours.

Leaked out over a few hours

I filled the bottle up to the second line, not over the lid on the top because I'd seen from other reviewers that overfilling caused leaking. Shouldn't have bothered about that end...I put a towel underneath just in case, and I'm glad I did because the bottle leaked completely out over a few hours from the cap and soaked the towel.

Leaks, but not how you expect

I bought this for my ferrets so they would never be without water, as they like to paw all the water out of their bowls. As soon as I filled it up from the flip top that I bought it for, water began to leak out of the sides of the bottle from underneath the purple top part. I quickly found out that the top isn't glued or sealed on in any way, just kinda "put" on top of the clear part. That means it's not airtight, and any water that touches the purple part leaks out. So I now have a water bottle that can only function properly if it's filled halfway or less.

Leaky bottle

I got this water bottle not even a year ago and it’s been leaking horribly. I’ve cleaned the spout and made sure it’s on right and it still just leaks a lot and fast.

oh, thank god

My beloved rats have kept me up most nights for almost a year incessantly drinking from their old loud roller-ball water. It gets to the point where I have to move their cage into the bathroom for the night! After installing this next to their old bottles, they immediately not only how to use it but began entirely ignoring the others in favor of this one. It's entirely silent. I'm so happy.
