Great for rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas and more!
I got this for my 9 week old holland lop. I have a 5 month old lionlop and it's a little cramped for him, but considering the cost is significantly less than other cages that are slightly bigger, I'd go with this one. I'm actually considering buying another one to use during the winter for my holland lop doe that is kept in an outdoor hutch. It's a nice size especially if you don't have extra space or don't want to free roam. I did modify the cage and made it so that I can open the top instead of just accessing the small opening on the front. It makes it way easier to clean and it's easier to grab my bunny.
INHUMANE FOR GUINEA PIGS/RABBITS
on Jun 25, 2020
DO NOT BUY THIS CAGE FOR A GUINEA PIG. This is about 50% too small for a guinea pig; they need AT LEAST 7.5 square feet of space to move around. Guinea pigs should also not be kept as solitary pets. They are extremely social herd animals and can get depressed or lonely if kept alone. @chewy, you should NOT be advertising or selling this as fit for a guinea pig.

Love the cage just wish you could pick the color! It’s for my sons room for his bunny. He wanted blue but got purple. Other then that it’s nice sized! And came fast!
Too big gap between wires
on May 9, 2020
The wires are too far apart, my hamster fits right through and he is a big hamster, I ordered this because it came up when I searched hamster cage.
so far so good

I have a large 2 story cage for my ferrets, but with that space I’ve been having trouble litter training the one. Using this to train a little better while in the cage. It seems decently sturdy. Planning on using it for traveling too.
Please do not buy for rabbits

This cage is way to small for rabbits and pigs. Rabbits need lots of room to play and run around in!
Flimsy bars but good space
on Dec 26, 2019
It was easy to build and has good space for your pet but the bars are crap and if you have some digging escape rats or other animal u may ant a sturdier cage . I could see the bars being separated if they really wanted to get out. I had a kaytee rabbit cage for my grown rats and if there head didnt fit they could not move the bars but this cage also has much better bar spacing so if the quality could improve a little it would be five stars. Also maybe a top door would be good, thank you
DO NOT BUY!!!

This is way too small for any animal! This will be like torture for them to live in! Buy a cage with at least 450 sq inches of floorspace, and at least a six inch tray to burrow in. For more reliable hamster care, visit Victoria Raechel’s YouTube channel. (It’s just her name)
Not suitable for rats

Bought this to be a temporary cage for my rats, put one rat in and he immediately squeezed through the bars. They're flexible under enough pressure. For the size, I wouldn't recommend this as a permanent cage for any animal.
Bad for hamster
