    Wow I’m impressed

By cage on Aug 25, 2021

So I got this cage today and tho I haven’t used it yet I’m so impressed with how big it is. I’m going to be using this for my guinea pig, I am a teacher and I have a pest guinea pig and the cage he has is so big and such a paint to transport when we have breaks(Christmas/thanksgiving break) so I bought this one to keep at my house so I don’t have to carry a cage back and forth and I must say I was not expecting anything this big but I think it will work perfect!

    Good for temporary housing

    By 3guineas on Jun 30, 2021

I breed rats and I use this as a birthing cage while the female is in late pregnancy and nursing her litter. The bar spacing is small enough that she can't escape, and the plastic base is deep enough that the pups can't fall out, unlike her critter nation cage. I wouldn't recommend keeping any animal in this full time. It is way too small. However, it works great as a temporary cage when I have a pregnant female, and when I don't, I use it as a travel cage to take my two dwarf rabbits to the vet.

Light, sturdy, easy assembly; but came slightly bent.

By CatMominWV on Mar 23, 2021

The cage arrived in only the original box it comes in. Since the box is heavy, I have no issue with this, but there was a deep sent in the underside, but no damage to the base of the cage. Speaking of the cage itself, it slips out of the box with minimal effort. The wire top was collapsed and upside down, which made for easy assembly into the box shape. Just put the hooks in the extended tabs on each corner and you are good. But, getting it to match up with the even, sturdy base was a small challenge. The bottom of the wire half is a little bent on a couple sides and it took a bit of nudging and mild jostling to get it to settle in the grooves properly. Once it was snapped on with the built in hooks and all, the cage was firmly attached. Got it for a safe and protected place for my Momma Kitty who is ready to birth kittens soon. The high sides of the base will be good containment for the newborns so legs, heads, and bodies can't get caught in the bars. Excellent for this purpose. Just the right size, and even enough room for a small litter pan when she needs it. … more

If I could give this a zero star I would

By Sara on May 24, 2021

What the heck?! Any good guinea pig owner would know this is a terrible cage. Waste of money too. It’s okay for a travel cage for. a day but as a permanent one? Are you kidding me

    Good for a Temporary/Travel cage

By Danyelle on Mar 5, 2021

I bought this as a travel cage for my hedgehog. I’m not sure why people are downvoting this based off of measurements that they’re fully aware isn’t the size for their pet. It’s a cheap, sturdy cage. I probably wouldn’t put a rabbit in this cage and it’s a bit too small for my hedgehog to live in but it does it’s job.

    DONT BUY THIS!

By Sarah on Jan 18, 2021

This is way too small for a rabbit or to be honest any small animal. Like what the heck the poor creature is gonna be sleeping in its crap. Not only is it way too small, i got this cage once and the cage falls apart so easily. Its not stable. Please dont buy this! Your pet could get depressed or start gaining weight living in something this small. You really need to get something called a playpen or ex pen. THEY ARE WAY BIGGER AND BETTER AND MOST OF THE TIME COST THE SAME PRICE AS "BIG" CAGES!

    Bunny Rabbit Habitat

    By Kaygee906 on Sep 6, 2020

I got this for my 9 week old holland lop. I have a 5 month old lionlop and it's a little cramped for him, but considering the cost is significantly less than other cages that are slightly bigger, I'd go with this one. I'm actually considering buying another one to use during the winter for my holland lop doe that is kept in an outdoor hutch. It's a nice size especially if you don't have extra space or don't want to free roam. I did modify the cage and made it so that I can open the top instead of just accessing the small opening on the front. It makes it way easier to clean and it's easier to grab my bunny.

    I would avoid this

By ShannaP on Jan 28, 2021

The top part of the cage does NOT line up with the bottom of the cage. This is not Chewy's fault, but a manufacturing issue.
