Perfect for small dog pescitarian

I have a 8lb maltipoodle that's allergic to all land meat (sadly). This brand has been doing amazing work for my dog and her hair is looking SUPER shiny! The small bites also helps so she can digest better. Highly recommend!

Small bites for treats

I use the baked small bites as training treats for training the dogs at my animal shelter. They are the perfect size and they love them. It’s a novel food/treat for them in the shelter

Some dogs may like it but mine did not

I was so hoping that my dogs would like this dog food as I am always searching for tasty food for them. You see, my one dog has skin allergies so I have to purchase only fish based food for both dogs to eat. Sadly, this food missed the mark. Both dogs did not like it and are now forced to finish the bag. The search continues...

high quality kibble

This is a really good kibble that’s both palatable for my puppy and it has helped to regulate his upset tummy. He initially started out on something else and his stools were kind of lose, but now they are completely normal and it’s only been a couple of weeks since I switched him. I love that the bites are really really small because my puppy inhales his food and can sometimes vomit. This food really minimizes any issues with choking. Although it is fish based and I’m not really a fan of fish myself, I find that the smell isn’t too pungent. I will definitely be using this food in the future, as my dog likes it and seems to be doing well on it.

Furbabies Love It

Fussy eater never leaves it and of course the garbage gut inhales it. My two Aussies have had allergies and with this fish food the itching is nearly gone after only three weeks. Love it. It is the supplement to fresh home prepared food and constitutes about 50 percent of their diet.

Great product, terrible customer service

Product is great, my picky eater loves it. However if you expect to get your order on time, either via scheduled subscription or individual order, I wouldn’t count on it. After a week delay with my scheduled subscription order, I was really running out of food and got an advertisement for guaranteed 1-2 day shipping so I ordered another bag in hopes to get the single order faster. After I completed the purchase of the second bag, its delivery date updated to 5 days out. Not helpful. AND even that day came and went. The second bag was finally delivered 3 additional days later (8 days for “guaranteed 1-2 day delivery”). Despite contacting customer service in the mix of all this, they showed no understanding and “couldn’t do anything.” Leaving me to search local shops for a bag to get my pup through. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Chewy. Since Petsmart took ownership of Chewy, Chewy’s previously wonderful customer service has been deteriorating, reaching an all time low. If you can find ANY local option, save yourself the trouble!

Too Many Peas, Not Enough Meat

My dog ate Lotus food for about a year and enjoyed the oven-baked fish and oven-baked chicken recipes, until I started REALLY looking at the ingredient lists and decided to switch. Peas are often used as a way to achieve a low-cost, grain-free food blend, however I'm not convinced that having peas listed 3 times in the top 7 ingredients provides an appropriate meat to legume balance= "Sardine, Herring, Dried Potatoes, Dried Peas, Dried Egg Product, Pea Protein Concentrate, Pea Fiber..."

Lotus small bites dog food Fish menu

My dog Cookie loved this food and as he has no teeth was able to eat it easily. I plan to stay on it otherwise he might not want to be my friend anymore. LOL
