Questions & Answers

I see that this product has “garlic powder” in the ingredients, but I have heard multiple times that garlic is bad for dogs. Is whole fresh garlic just bad for them and is powder ok or what is going on here? Thanks!
Answer by ChewyMar 05, 2019
Many people believe that garlic is harmful to dogs, and in large, concentrated doses this can be true. However, in the portions used in this treat, it is highly beneficial to heart health, acts as a natural flea repellant, an antioxidant and anti-bacterial ingredient. Just like with humans, many things are healthy (and indeed necessary) in small doses but potentially harmful in large, concentrated doses.

At what age is it recommended to switch a small dog (will be less than 20 lbs full grown) from the puppy lamb and salmon bites to these adult ones?
Answer by ChewyOct 08, 2020
Puppies mature into adults at different times depending on their breed. This means that a large dog breed will mature into an adult at about 15-24 months, while smaller breeds will be puppies for only 9-12 months.

How many in a bag and what size are they
Answer by ChewyApr 23, 2019
These treats are packaged by weight -- the amount inside will vary from bag to bag. The treats are approximately the size of a quarter.

Can these be broken easily into smaller size for training?
Answer by ChewyAug 25, 2020
These soft and chewy treats can be broken into smaller bite-sized pieces.

These treats are favorites of my two little pooches and soft enough that when torn into little pieces, my senior toothless Bichon can easily handle them.

Soft Treats for Dogs

So happy to have tried these Wellness treats, My aging mini schnauzer can handle these easily even those he is missing more than half his teeth. His cousin, a golden retriever loves them also.

I still gave it 5 stars since it wouldn't be fair to say it was bad. It's just that my puppy didn't care for it.

My dog is allergic to chicken, beef & pork and these are the only snacks without those proteins that he will eat.

Perfect treats!

My yorkie loves these and he's a picky guy. Texture is soft and easily chewed. Love the fact you can easily tear them into smaller bits.

Best snacks

When we rescued Max at 11 years old from Horrible conditions, he was overweight, had severe infections, food allergies and blind. Low energy and lethargic. After extensive research on different Shih Tzu blogs, Wellness brand food and snacks highly recommended.

Great high-value treat for toy breeds

My 8lb havanese mix loves this treat. They are great for working with her on training because the chewy texture makes it easy to pinch off the perfect tiny reward bites. They are stinky enough my dog loves them and mild enough to not stink up my house or pantry. Thanks for a job well done on a great treat.

Pupcorn unavailable

The only place that I can order this product is from Chewy. This is why I rated my order “4” instead of “5”.

It's Iffy at Best

Doggo doesn't seem to like the texture. He can't figure out if he can just swallow it or shew it. It looks weird when he tried to swallow it.
