Best food for a finicky cat

I tried about half a dozen brands of food and finally found Nala. My cat turned up his nose at others but absolutely loves this. Always cleans the bowl.

Yummy but be careful with the diced vegetables

My cat Miso was instantly intrigued with this canned food as soon as I presented it to her. She loved it but didn’t really care for the sweet potato and carrot chunks

My cat Miso was instantly intrigued with this canned food as soon as I presented it to her. She loved it but didn’t really care for the sweet potato and carrot chunks. Since the canned food is mostly broth and little shredded chicken pieces, she would kind of choke on the larger diced sweet potatoes and carrots. I also like how this has a high amount of broth to keep her hydrated. Overall, she enjoyed this food but I may try out a different flavor without vegetables chunks.

When I saw this food I was excited about the prospect of giving the boy a little something more than just meat and seeing if he would give it a go. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t touch it. The shreds looked to be good sized and there was a decent amount of gravy. I was a bit disappointed in the two tiny chunks of sweet potato that I could see. I know food is one of those things that is hard to review because what my boy will eat another cat will ignore and vice versa, but in this case, I passed a few cans to my in-laws to try and their gravy and shreds loving cats ignored it was well.

I tried this food multiple times with my cat Hattie and she wasn't a fan. As described, liquid is definitely a broth consistency as opposed to gravy-like. She normally likes the liquid in cat food but for some reason she didnt seem to like this very much. You can see the chunks of chicken, potato and tomato and it looks like a quality product, its just not to my cat's liking.

The meat seems to be in water, so the whole thing doesn't congeal into slime when I put it in the fridge, which I like. The main thing I DON'T like is that the can isn't a standard size, so the can lids I have don't fit on it. I'm still going to work through what I have, since my cat really seems to like it - she's a chicken fiend - but I'm not excited to have to store the can in a sandwich baggie the whole time.

This food looks fabulous. The chicken, sweet potatoes, and tomato are all identifiable. No mysteries here. I felt good feeding it to my picky eaters. Mixed reviews from the feline contingent, though. Three out of four scarfed it up and came looking for more. The fourth. Well, he's a cat, what can I say. Walked away from the bowl. I'll definitely continue to feed it to the three who like it, but still on the hunt for something for my picky fourth.

The first time I fed this to my cats, they ate it and cleaned the bowl. After the first can, I gave them the option of this food and another brand. They ate the other first, and then this one. Having 7 cats, I put out several bowls of canned food. When this is one of them, they eat it, but don't clean the bowl. I was concerned about the tomato that is in it, but it's finely diced. Sometimes they ate it, sometimes they didn't.
