Where are the ingredients sourced from? Any ingredients from China?

As such, they are committed to only use the highest quality, safe ingredients from trusted suppliers with Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level 2 Certification, a recognized standard by the Global Food Safety Initiative. These suppliers are fully vetted and government inspected for their practices starting from ranch or farms. Their supplier controls the entire supply chain, they can vouch for the quality of all of their products. From farm to manufacturing, full health & traceability documentation. Lucy Pet do not source any ingredients from China. Their Duck is from France, USA, and Canada, Salmon is Wild Alaskan Salmon, and their Chicken is from the USA.

How long is it safe after opening the bag?

Once opened, dry dog food should be consumed within 6 weeks of breaking the seal. Unopened dry dog food can last upwards of one year and when stored properly will last until the expiration date listed by the manufacturer.

Is the size of this kibble appropriate for a five-pound toy poodle?

HORRENDOUS LUCY CUSTOMER SERVICE

Stay away from this brand. Dog was happy, but not worth the headache. The standup comedian Michelle from Lucy Brand insulted me and ruined my day. Never again.

My Newfoundland has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI). She was put on prescription dry dog food and enzymes and had better results. The prescription food was becoming unaffordable. We switched our Newfoundland to Lucy brand, and had much better results, a happier and healthier dog, and Lucy brand was much more affordable too.
