Dogs like them, no noticeable calming effects

My guy is a ball of anxiety especially during rainy season in South Florida. Storms with hard, loud rain and thunder every day for months. He already takes calming supplements and Prozac. My girl is typically easy, breezy except for thunder and fireworks. Generally they both get CBD when it storms or there's fireworks so I thought we'd try these anxiety and calming treats. The dogs seem to enjoy them. I didn't notice any calming effects or reduction in anxiety after they ate the treats as a storm started brewing. My girl was shaking and my boy went to his under the bed safe spot.

We’ve had great results with these Maev Anxiety & Calming supplement bars. Our pup is a rescue & she has a hard time with new houses. The 1st few days in our new house were a challenge so we tried these out. She was noticeably calmer and relaxed within a couple of days. We’ve added these to her daily routine. The human grade ingredients are high quality and the treats smell delicious. They smell like a gourmet peanut butter bar. I recommend these for any pup that has issues with anxiety.

Yep! They work great. My babydogs were out cold next to me on the bed within half an hour of eating them. My pups love them, but they're super crumbly, so don't give them to them on the bed or couch unless you're ready to vacuum. They smell amazing, and my babies seem to love the taste. They smell like peanut butter, and you can see the chia seeds. Plenty comes in the Box and because I have really small teacup and toy dogs I break them in half and share one for two dogs. Our puppy dog family loves these!

Our 33 pound Labradoodle Theo has always experienced some anxiety when left alone, as well as being overexcitable when a new, or familiar face enters our home. So, when Chewy offered an natural herb supplement for us try, instead of the prescription drug Trazadone we had been using, we were thrilled to do it. Our experience thus far has been positive. We have given the Maev supplement several times now, and happy to say that when used at home when we were going out to dinner, we left a calm, relaxed pup, and returned home to the same! We used it when having guests come over, and Theo was calmer when they arrived, and relaxed during their visit. Using something natural makes us feel that we are doing the best for our sweet boy. My dog has anxiety even over rain showers and hides in the shower. I have tried all types of medication from the vet and nothing works. After a few weeks, I noticed the difference. We had a thunderstorm and he was unbothered. The dog groomer told me how calm he was with the blow dryer that normally freaked him out. I have these in my auto shipments now! My dog also likes the flavor and looks forward for this “treat”.

I give this product 3 stars since my very picky dog actually enjoyed eating this supplement when she normally turns her nose up to most things. I included one bar with her dinner and she seemed to enjoy it. I'm only giving 3 starts because while she liked it and it may have some health benefits, I'm not sure I noticed any calming effects. I also gave this to my super-anxious grandpuppy. She also loved the taste but it had no calming effects.

I gave this to my mom for her dogs, they are both extremely high strung and nervous about life in general. She said it may have worked, it was hard to tell if it worked for sure but her dogs laid around a few days while they were on it. I plan on saving the little bit I saved for my 1 dog because the other is going in for hip surgery later this year and I think he's going to have a tough time with his brother laying there hurting and not playing. I will update my review once I personally use the product.
