Are you aloud to give these to your dog as needed or do you have to give them every day for them to work in their system?

Calming Hemp can be used on an as-needed basis. There is a 30 minute to one-hour time frame for it to digest and get into the system, based on metabolism. You can give your dog their full recommended amount at once or spread out, but it can be beneficial to spread out for this product, as the effects last approximately 4-7 hours depending on the dog.

Gave the suggested dose to my Great Dane to see if it would make a difference. Had to cover them in peanut butter since he didn't like the taste. An hour later,

Gave the suggested dose to my Great Dane to see if it would make a difference. Had to cover them in peanut butter since he didn't like the taste. An hour later, he bit another dog for the first time, so definitely did not have a calming effect. Hopefully it works well for others.

Nighttime aid for sleep

She has seizures , in addition to purina neuro care, fish oil and medications, she gets two at night with a melatonin for a good nights sleep for her.

None of my dogs would even eat it! I would have to cut it up and hide in other food and it didn't seem to calm them at all during storms.

They were ok

The smell was awful but my pup still seemed to like them lol. I think it helped mellow her out a little if we were just hanging out at home. but she was still too

I think it helped mellow her out a little if we were just hanging out at home. but she was still too anxious when having to go in her crate. I don't think it's any fault of the product though. I just think my dog needed more than what this chew provides when it came to her having to go in her crate.
