Is the cover removable for washing?

The Small and Medium sizes have a non-removable slipcover, while the Large and Extra Large have a zippered removable slipcover. For products with removable covers: remove cover, close zipper (if present) and wash cover only. Do not wash insert. Machine wash on delicate with cold water. Do not bleach. Do not wring. Do not dry clean. Tumble dry on gentle. Do not iron.

Are the measurements in the size chart from the inside edges of the bed or outside?

My dog LOVES his bed but I am definitely disappointed to discover that the cover is not removable as advertised. I didn’t check that when I received it. Just went to remove the cover to wash it and nope, can’t remove it. It’s too late for me to return it at this point, unfortunately. Gotta’ figure out to clean it, laundromat I guess. Bummer!

Paper-thin fabric, avoid for large dogs!

My Greyhound loved this bed so much, but unfortunately the material is incredibly cheap and easy to rip. He had zoomies and ran over his bed, which caused a small tear exposing some of the cotton filling which, as dog parents, we know is the death knell of any toy or bed. The bed then seemed to rip at the slightest provocation. It’s now a shredded mess not even 1 month after buying it. The other beds (Frisco brand) in my house have lasted a year and counting. I’m pretty disappointed in the quality of this bed.

Got the biggest one for my pit; happy to report he LOVES it. He was raised with a chihuahua so he has the habit of curling up in smaller spaces. The first night he slept on the bed he didn’t move at all! Just paws and balls to the sky and what I can imagine was the best sleep he's had in a while!

Too big and stuffy

Its so big and stuffy, my dogs didn't use it . the cover is not rmovable and the stuffing is so big it needs an industrial machine to wash it. I had an xlarge bed

Its so big and stuffy, my dogs didn't use it . the cover is not rmovable and the stuffing is so big it needs an industrial machine to wash it. I had an xlarge bed for my standard size doodle his entire life that fit in my front load washer without a problem and had been washed a million times, finally after 10 years it ripped apart and I looked for another option that wouldn't cost me $400. This definitely wasn't it. I guess you get what you pay for. On the positive note, Chewy reimbursed me and let me donate the 2 beds I purchased. That's definitely a wonderful gesture. Thank you.

I, too, went by the question of a removable cover answered with there being a zipper in the Large & X Large. We ordered the Large & no zipper anywhere, even checked all seams. We have a large LG front load washer & I could not get the entire bed inside. So will return as I don't want to have to trek to laundromat. Otherwise the bed seems high quality, albeit it really overstuffed. I will try mat version of this, without the attached bolster.
