Is the bottom going to flatten out with use? I just received it today. It has a curved bottom full of stuffing, so it's causing the bed to wobble a lot and be unstable when my arthritic dog is trying to climb in and out. Does washing and drying it help flatten it at all?

The tag says not to use washers with an agitator. My washer has one, so what should I do about washing it?

We recommend that the bed be taken to a laundromat and then follow the instructions thereafter. If that is not at all possible, then we would suggest washing with a very gentle cycle, though it is not recommended as it would likely damage the product with the agitator.

Is the Sherpa pad removable for easy cleaning?

This bed is machine washable. The cushion is not removable. The Large and Extra Large sizes feature a zippered removable slipcover.

Is there a zipper so this can be separated? I need an ex-large and if it has to remain completely together, it will be too large and bulky for my washing machine?

Comfortable, functional and beautiful

I am the dog owner that has several beds around the house for my dog so that he can choose where he wants to sleep. This bed is by far his favorite. He is 10 years old and this is the first time in his life that he has not had at least 4 beds around the house. I was able to get rid of the rest because he spends all his time in this one and no longer uses the rest. The small bed is really big for him but he loves it and it works. I was surprised at how big it was. He is a 5 pound yorkie.

This bed is made very well, but it is so over stuffed that my dog just rolls off it. It literally looks like a VERY overstuffed pie about to burst with a lot of crust. I really like the color and personalized embroidery, but I am very disappointed that my dog will not use it at all. I wish I had taken the overstuffed reviews seriously, but there were so many good reviews. It is now an oversized cat bed. I would buy my dog another bed, but I have such limited space that it is impossible to fit anything else on the floor. Studio apts, I tell ya! I’m very sad this didn’t work out, and this is an expensive bed! The pupper will have to make due with my bed.

Not washable, bedding went flat

I bought 2 of these beds for my dogs 2 years ago. They've held up ok. The bolsters are still full but the middle of the bed has gone flat and not much padding left

I bought 2 of these beds for my dogs 2 years ago. They've held up ok. The bolsters are still full but the middle of the bed has gone flat and not much padding left. My dogs weigh 45 and 55lbs. Although it says they're machine washable, you can't take the covers off or take it apart. I bought the large size and would have to try to cram the whole thing in my washer/dryer or take it to a commercial laundry mat. I will be replacing these eventually with more washable beds which is disappointing because I paid to have them personalized so they will probably end up in a landfill.

When she contacted customer servie, they told her to keep the food left over & donate it to a shelter. You also refunded her money &&&& sent a card & flowers!!
