How long are the different sizes????
Answer by ChewyDec 10, 2020
The Small is 14 inches long, the Medium is 20 inches long, the Large is 25 inches long, the X-Large and the Colossal are 36 inches long.

how thick is the rope?
Answer by ChewyJan 30, 2018
The Small is 1.5 inches thick. The Medium is 2 inches thick. The Large is 2.5 inches thick. Both the X-Large and Colossal sizes measure 3.5 inches thick.

What is the difference between the colossal and XL? I see the colossal is smaller in length which doesn't make sense to me.
Answer by ChewyOct 02, 2017
While the Colossal Mammoth Knot Tug is 2 inches shorter in length, it is slightly thicker to accommodate powerful chewers.

Would this be a perfect toy for my 2 month old puppy or no?
Answer by ChewyAug 02, 2018

Easily destroyed

This is made of thread equivalent to cotton floss. It is not rope and is not durable. My corgi ripped it up in less than a week.

So far so good

My 8 month old English Cocker is a toy chewer and loves to tug. So far has held up well. He has managed to pull a few of the fringe ends off

Great Chew Toy

My dog, Tucker, is a very strong dog and loves to play with pull toys. This suits him well and we have so much fun with it.

Long Lasting

Naira Marley 24. Lbs Boston Terrier. This has so far lasted to longest when it comes to rope toys. It doesn’t leave a big mess which I am easily able to sweep up. After 2 months use.

Perfect for puppy

I was surprised at how high quality the rope is for the price. This works great for my puppy and her size. Her razor-sharp teeth have not managed to destroy it yet.

Just OK...

I have two bigger dogs (both are around 55lbs), and one of them is definitely a super chewer. However, this rope is not for super chewers and should not be advertised as such. I would say it is for a stronger chewer, but not a super chewer. After 10-15 minutes, my super chewer had already frayed and pulled some rope pieces out of the middle parts. Then the next day, she untied one of the end knots. It is pretty decent quality, therefore, there are no rope strings, or pieces of rope strings, on the floor, and they still are able to safely play with the toy. I would only recommend this toy for strong/stronger chewers and below.

Waste of money

Between my two dogs this toy was shredded in less than hour of giving it to them. I was trying to find a stronger toy that wouldn't fall apart. The last toy I purchased had strings come out of the toy like this one did and got lassoed around my dogs tongue. The vet didn't notice it was wraped around the dogs tongue until they did surgery to remove the clump of string from my dogs stomach wich the dog could digest.

Not long lasting and not for strong chewers

I have a young pointer (WPG). Bite strength for this breed is not crazy high but she LOVES her tug and chews at it when not trying to get one of her people to pull her through the house. Within the initial few hours of play the outer layer around the knots was pretty much shredded. In other words not long lasting and not for strong chewers.
