She was addicted to the Flax biscuits but when they were sold out I tried these. When I got the Apple Nuggets, I still had a few flax snacks left and I let her choose which one she preferred. She chose these! Of course, she still loves Flax snacks, but these are her favorite!
i have a horse who doesn't like carrots, so i chop up apples to bring out each time. but that gets expensive! these are perfect. he loves them, they're easy to dispense from the bag, not messy, and the perfect bite sizes. and as always, chewy ships LIGHTNING-fast, which is the way to my heart. i am a very happy customer. and my horse is, too!
I look or treats without sugar in the list of ingredients, and I have found a few that I buy regularly. This product is one of them. These contain vitamins and minerals, too. I'm happy that Chewy carries them! My mule loves them!
Our horses lOVE these treats and Chewy provides them a little cheaper than local stores. Plus they deliver to our door! Some flavors are short in stock though.
My horse used to love these but for some reason he seems to dislike them now. I’m not sure why maybe they changed their ingredients?
Love the treats for my horse, but the bag size was so deceptive on this packaging. They showed package that is 4 lb. size not the one lb. bag I received. The 4lb bag sells for $7.99 and they sent me 1 lb. bag for $3.99. Way too expensive.
Our paint pony loves these as much as she loves her peppermints.
We've got 2 yearling colts (Sorrelly and Roany) that have never been worked with or touched and 1 yearling (Dax) that we're boarding that has. I bought these treats for the older horses. All the colts were up by the pasture fence one morning so I brought a pocketful out. I offered one to Dax and he ate it up and wanted more. The other 2 colts got interested and came to investigate. They've never been hand-fed so it took a bit to catch on how to get the treat. After they ate the treat I'd rub their forehead. They wanted more. Same thing - after each treat they would get their forehead or neck rubbed. The older horses were curious and came over and they got some treats, too. I do not give the treats daily but most mornings ALL the horses are waiting for me by the pasture fence looking for their Apple Flavor Nuggets and some rubs.
I bought these as a Christmas treat for my daughter to use at the barn for her horse. Well, the horse is used to getting real apples and carrots etc and didn’t like these. However, it made a cute gift.
My grand horse loves these and they were very helpful when they were crushed up and given with some medicine he did not want to take. Success! Note he is back to eating as a treat only.
