Serious Antibiotic for Serious Infection

Don't know what the hound dog did, but she developed a huge pus-filled mass on her fore-leg. Tried topicals and another antibiotic. Our vet cultured the pus and it came back that Marbofloxacin would be effective. Marbofloxacin has it just about healed and we have 13 more days of medicine so we are confident in a good result.

dog would not eat them, and she is not picky.

Even after mixing them in with things and slicing them up she would not eat them, she picked them out of her food

Rock hard

These chews were rock hard. My dog would not eat them at all. I couldn't even break them to be able to try to give to him a different way. Had to order from a different company and they were very soft like a chew is supposed to be. Makes me worry the ones from Chewy that something was wrong with them.

Hard as a rock!

There was only one review on this product saying it was rock hard. I took a chance anyway and shouldn't have. Not sure if these are old or what but definitely not chewy at all. Should have known it was too good to be true considering the price of the Zenequin tablets being much higher. You get what you pay for. Do not recommend!

Buckley is not impressed

Do you have a dog that treats every meal as if it’s their death row meal? Cuz I do. My dude will eat ANYTHING if it means he gets to eat. So I got these chews, HE’LL LOVE EM. Guess what happened, He will do whatever it takes not eat these god forsaken chews. We’ve tried pairing it with his normal kibble. He eats around the chews like he was navigating through a german minefield. I tried grinding them up in a food processor and adding them to wet food. Pretty sure these chews are made out of tungsten because they almost destroyed the food processor. Did I mention the smell? Holy cow. No really, it smells like a cows hole. My dog spends his days devouring rabbit turds in the yard but couldn’t stomach the idea of eating these colossal failures. Do yourself a favor and pass these up.

Completely unchewable

My cat spent 15 mins trying to chew one of these even after I broke it up into tiny pieces for him. It came hard as a rock and now he still can't get his meds, meanwhile his bacterial infection is getting worse while I try to find a different form of this medicine.

Stale, unusable medication

Zero stars. This product arrived w/ blister packs open on some of the tabs, and "chewable" tablets that were hard as rocks and totally stale. I could not even crush them. As a veterinarian, I am very capable of medicating dogs, but these tablets were too large for that. A stale compounded product, in this case a very necessary antibiotic, is unlikely to be effective at all. The pharmacist offered to sell me more product at a 15% discount. What? You sell me a prescription drug that has gone bad, has the potential to be harmful to my pet, and then you want me to buy more? Extremely unprofessional and apparently unaware of the profound responsibility when you expand a pet food business into a prescription business. Done with trusting my pet's medications to Chewy.
