Emergency medication extremely late delivery

My dog found some mouse poison and the emergency visit left us needing K1 to keep the blood clotting under control until the poison worked out of her system. I contacted

My dog found some mouse poison and the emergency visit left us needing K1 to keep the blood clotting under control until the poison worked out of her system. I contacted to try and pay extra for overnight shipping. I was told I don’t have to that they are sending it overnight. But warned me it may actually take 3 days. So I had to pay to get her shots daily at the vet until this came. The shots cost more than the entire Rx. The Rx did not arrive until 7 days later. I am not and was not happy AT ALL. I would expect this from Kaiser Permanente for humans, not any animal pharmacy bc surely they know this is an extremely important medication, ESPECIALLY time-sensitive treatment. If I have a choice in the future, I will NOT be using this pharmacy for emergency medications.

Chewy was able to get the supplement to us after the vet couldn’t find it locally. Our beloved dog had been exposed to rat poison. Rather that having to go to the vet for a injectable form of this everyday until it arrived, we were lucky enough to get it shipped immediately. Thanks to the customer service staff, the pharmacist and the shipping department for pushing it thru. It arrived the next day.

Never again.

I placed a pharmacy order early on a Monday for 2 medicines that I needed right away. My vet approved them through their portal before 1pm that same Monday. I called

I placed a pharmacy order early on a Monday for 2 medicines that I needed right away. My vet approved them through their portal before 1pm that same Monday. I called Chewy Tuesday to make sure they shipped and was told they were not approved even though o their website under my orders it all showed approved. Called my vet and they said they definitely approved them. Called again Wednesday and was then told that only the antibiotic was approved but was not shipped. Asked them to ship and explained that the other was approved and was a life or death medication that I needed shipped overnight and I'd pay for it. They shipped the antibiotic but not the clotting medication. Thursday I went to my vet to get some to hold me over. Was lucky because it's not a med they usually carry and they showed me where they approved EVERYHING on MONDAY on the portal. Called AGAIN on Thursday and again was told it was not approved and they don't do overnight orders. NEVER AGAIN will I order any medications from them. I ordered one that they did not have in stock from 800petmeds and had the next day!
