Is this a good product to use in a goldfish tank to help keep the ammonia low? Do I still use carbon in my filter systerm?

Dual-action chemical filter media keeps pond water clean, clear and fish-safe. Marineland Diamond Blend Carbon-Ammonia Neutralizing Blend combines fast-acting Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon and super-effective White Diamond Blend Zeolite for superior pond water quality. It effectively removes dissolved organic waste and odors as well as toxic ammonia and chloramines. For best results, fine media must be placed in a mesh bag inside of the refillable media container to avoid leakage into your aquarium system.

Can I use this in a cat litter box? To eliminate ammonia odor?

good stuff but the ratio is off.

This is a good product but the zeolite to carbon ratio is off. It needs more carbon. But it works pretty well.

the white rocks absorb ammonia making fish quality better and the black rocks absorb odor and make clearer making fish quality and your viewing better...I use 1 heaping teaspoon per 3 gallons approximate in mesh bag and clean filter out every 4 to 8 weeks depending on when I have time, my water test are awesome. Don't forget to perform water changes every couple of days. Maybe 20-30 percent once or twice and then a 30-50 percent once a week. YOUR FISH WILL THANK YOU as they move quicker and seem happier.

Different uses for this product

I use this product to line the bottom of my cat box and it doesn't irritate they pores or anything I thought if it was sensitive enough to filter fish it would be
