how often does this foam need to be changed?

The filter foam can be rinsed and reused once every three weeks for a total of nine weeks. Remember to change your filter cartridge once a month or when you see a reduction in water flow, as well as change 25% of the water monthly.

No, the media for our Magniflow and C series canister filters will not fit the Sun Sun filters.

The foam filter media measure approximately 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches. This is compatible with the C-160 and C-220 Canister Filters.
