Not as good as the peanut butter ones

These were hard not soft, also the ferrets didn't like them, only Flynn ate them and only 2 in a seating. They Joanna's get 4 to 5, or 6 if they like them like

Changes in quality

I’ve been getting this food since I’ve had my ferret (5 years) and for the most part it has worked out great. Quite recently, they have changed the size and price

I’ve been getting this food since I’ve had my ferret (5 years) and for the most part it has worked out great. Quite recently, they have changed the size and price of bags. Smaller bag, pricier. On top of that, they changed the quality of the food. The size of the pieces are completely different. I found my ferret choking on it twice. From now on I break the larger pieces into smaller bite sizes. I have no idea why the pieces are so large as ferrets do not have grinding molar teeth. I’ve tried other brands and my ferret will not eat any others. Given her senior age, I’m stuck with it. I recommend breaking the pieces smaller just in case your ferret is a fast eater or doesn’t chew their food all the way before swallowing. Overall, my ferret loves the food so I take the time to break the pieces down for her.
