The duration of the litter lasting would depend on how often the cage is cleaned. We'd recommend changing the litter at least once a week.

Ferret Litter

This litter does have good odor control. I would think it would be dust free(as advertised on the package) It's Marshall's so it isn't dust free. So I end up trying

This litter does have good odor control. I would think it would be dust free(as advertised on the package) It's Marshall's so it isn't dust free. So I end up trying to get the dust out myself. But I tried another litter and she avoided it altogether. I'll keep looking.

It works

Not a fan of the brand in general, but this litter has always worked for us. Keeps the urine smell at bay. I’ve tried to switch brands but my girl eats every brand

I love it!

This litter/bedding for my ferret is the best! She didn't like the change at first but now she likes it. The other litters would always end up on the floor outside

Absorbency

It’s great for absorbency with almost zero dust. For ordor control it’s a 4 out 5, have to clean it twice a day to stay in top of the of odor, but having ferrets

Bag torn in multiple places

Litter spilled inside shipping box because there was several tears in the bag. Bag looked like it had been thrown around quite a bit.

STINKS & breaks down into tiny pieces

I have ferrets. After being peed on, this litter did not hold its pellet shape and broke down into tiny pieces, leaving quite a stinky mess. I clean up litterpans

I have ferrets. After being peed on, this litter did not hold its pellet shape and broke down into tiny pieces, leaving quite a stinky mess. I clean up litterpans 2x/day, but I noticed my ferrets' habitat area had a bad smell just walking by. I went back to using the Chewy brand Frisco. (I quickly noticed no more stink, and the paper pellets hold their shape for easy clean up.)
