I love this product some much it has helped with my ferrets coat so much and I originally purchased this because it’s was recommended to help him stop scratching so much and not only did it help with the scratching but he is so fluffy now and he looks forward to having this supplement every day .
This product is amazing and really does seem to work. We have a ferret that came from a bad situation, as a result, he has a dull spiky coat and refuses most treats that help, but he will gladly lap straight from the bottle. The bad thing is I have lost maybe half the bottle due to leakage
my ferret loves it, i don't know if it helps his skin but it is a great training tool just do not give him too much as his stools get too soft then you just cut it down alittle
We started using this when another oil was discontinued. It took our ferret about a week to get used to the taste. We’ve used it over a year now and can report good, full coat and no itchy spots. Adding an oil is also helpful right now b/c of supply chain issues with ferret food. We mix 3 types of food so our guy doesn’t get too picky—but still had to switch 2 of the 3 in the last 6 months b/c no one had them in stock (locally or online). Having the same oil made it an easier transition when switching foods.
When Ferretone was discontinued (which my woozle had been using for 5 years) we switched to this one as an aid for his meds. He likes it almost as well but it really makes him pack on the pudge!
Great for nail trimming or getting your ferret to hold still. U put some on its tummy and they will sit and clean it off. My ferret will do anything for this stuff which has been a godsend since getting sick and needing to take medicine. I've mixed it with amoxicillin, benedryl and a steroid, all at different times. Just added a couple drops of furo-tone and he lapped up every last bit and was still sniffing around looking for more. His coat looks nicer when we use this stuff too. 10/10 must have if you own a ferret
I never have written a review before but I just had to write one because I want people to know how awesome this stuff is!!! So about 2 months ago my ferret Mallie started to lose her fur on her back and tail to the point you could see her skin. I don’t know what caused it but I was very worried. As soon as I noticed it I looked up what could be causing her hair loss on Google. There were a few things but I figured I’d go on chewy and see what they had to help her fur grow back! I came across the marshalls furo tone skin and coat ferret supplement and I gave my ferret a teaspoon in her for every time I filled her bowl which was about once every 3 days. She didn’t mind the taste which is something I was worried about. After about a week I noticed that new little hairs started to grow in but still it was too early to tell if it was really working. Now 2 months later and my ferrets hair has grown back fully and it’s shiny smooth and so soft!! She looks amazing!! I’m so happy that she’s better. If anyone is going through the same thing with their ferret please don’t hesitate this stuff works wonders and brought my girl back to health!! Thanks to this oil my girl is back to get old self!!!!
My little fur baby, Penny, absolutely loved this stuff and she's quite picky. I also noticed a difference in her coat within a week. She was less gray, more thick, and so much softer! She also itched way less which made for a very happy girl!
My ferrets started liking this product immediately. I currently have 8 ferrets and adding 2 teaspoons of this to their food and stirring it around is enough to cover all their food. They had a soft healthy coat in no time.
It’s great. Big boy loves it. Helps his coat also. Great price too!!
