Feeding Instructions

Young Ferrets (6 - 11 Weeks Old): It is important at this age to sufficiently moisten the diet for your young ferret. Mix 3 parts warm fresh water to 1 part Marshall Diet (3:1 Ratio). Allow the mixture to sit for 3 - 5 minutes. Add more Marshall Diet or water until it reaches a wet oatmeal consistency. Keep some dry diet available at this age so your ferret will adjust to a completely dry diet by the time it is 12 - 13 weeks of age.

Adolescent and Adult Ferrets (12 Weeks and Older): By now, your ferret should have converted to the dry diet. Keep fresh water and Marshall Diet available at all times.

Filled with things Ferrets CANT eat

    By on

Corn , Peas and other fillers in the product are known to cause harm to ferrets... Marshalls is the breeder, they care about people buying more ferrets and food, not making sure ferrets are healthy and live a long happy life.

    Good, crumbly food

    By on

This food is not the highest quality food there is. However, my ferrets will not eat kibble that is too hard. This food is decent quality (better, at least, than Marshall’s regular food), and it is super crumbly for them. I mix it with Wysong’s freeze-dried raw foods for ferrets, dogs, and cats to increase the nutritional content.

My ferret really enjoys your food, but when we introduced her to this flavor, she seemed to enjoy it even more. Now she won’t eat anything but this brand and flavor

    Ferrets LOVE it!

My ferrets absolutely love this food! We just got a new addition and she has a easier time eating this because of the smaller bites. Plus it has helped fatten her up!

    A little mix

    By on

My boys seem to like this one. I have been mixing it into their Marshal Premium food as to not shock them with a new complete change of food. It is a smaller bag than the premium and a little pricy so therefore it won’t be their only source of food in the future.

My two ferrets have been eating Marshall Select Chicken Formula every since I got them 5 years ago. They love it and it is good for them. Also, there is no bad odor to their feces!
