My ferrets love this product, but it had been out of stock for a while, so when it came back into stock I purchased 3 tubes. But when I went to squeeze it out of the tube it was hard, normally it squeezes out like tooth paste. All 3 tubes were the same. Not sure why, but it is not usable. Am going to buy 1 more tube, not sure what happen to them.
The paste is so hard ! All 10 tubes ! It is not chewy.com's fault. Not at all. Paste was out of stock for a bit. So I'm guessing with that and the fact all 10 tubes are hard that it's a manufacturing issue / problem. This vitamin paste is daily part of all my ferrets lives, especially my elderly ferret. She NEEDS her paste but sadly it's way to hard for her to eat.
My ferrets love this product. Except I am unable to get it out of the tube! It's so rock hard they can't even lap it up. What is going on? Super disappointed with this order. Currently looking for another provider to purchase my ferret products.
My ferrets love this vitamin supplement. This is a favorite treat for my ferrets.
This stuff is ferret 'crack'! We call it Yum-Yum, but we have to spell it unless we're standing at their cage w/ a tube in hand. If we screw up and say Yum-Yum out loud & not there, they'll shake the doors to get out and find it.
Our Ferret loves this stuff but the last few tubes have been so hard.
My rats didn't go nuts for it like most rats do, but they sure don't hate it. It gets kind of watery if you don't use/shake it frequently(at least mine did) so be careful when you open it up. It's definitely not the most nutritious treat(for rats at least) because it's mostly sugar, but that's why it's a treat. Good to use for training, or to ingratiate yourself to a new rat, just use it in moderation like other treats.
My ferrets go crazy for this stuff. Pro tip, I put a pea sized amount on their bellies and sit them in my lap, they’re so distracted licking it up that I can get their nails clipped with no wiggling.
My little guy loves this, I always squeeze a little on his food then use my hands to rub it all together and he loves it. He will eat right from the tube if you let him. It has a thick like molasses texture so putting it in his food is the best way to give it to him I think. I also recommend all the marshals treats he never turns them down. He is 3 years old and is so healthy and his coat is beautiful. Thank you chewy.
Our Ferret is about 7 years old and for about the last 6 months she has been having “spells”. Maybe mini strokes. But about once a month she acts dead and barely moves. We mix a little of the vitamins with a little water and fill a small syringe (without the needle) and gently run it down her throat. Within minutes, she starts perking up! Then she’s fine after a couple more hours. I’m convinced that the extra nutrition is saving her life!!
