Master Grooming Tools Ergonomic Slicker Pet Brush, Teal, Medium

I bought this brush to replace a brush that was almost 20 years old. I wanted a similar type and it was actually difficult to find! I wanted metal bristles, not massive, deep bristles to dig down in the coat, etc. I originally bought this for my cat Gwynevere because sometimes she gets constipated and doesn’t clean herself well (I fixed that issue, no worries!) and the brushing help stimulate her into bathing. I never used much pressure on her because her coat is short-medium length. Then I started using this brush on my long haired cat, Artemis. She is heavily prone to matting and is a bit chonky so clean herself is a hassle. I was using the 20 year old brush and it worked so-so but better than others I tried. This new brush though?! Wow! It’s ergonomic and looks thick but fits my hand perfectly. The bristles are sharp but not hurtful. Artemis is begging daily for brushing when before I had to chase her down for them. She is usually leaning into the brush and showing her belly which she NEVER does! I’m so shocked how floofy she has become with proper brushing! Thank you so much!

Seems like a great brush I haven't used it yet but it's just what I wanted because the one I have doesn't work very well for her type of hair.

She needs brushing every day. In the past she hated it and when I lost the brush I didn’t replace it. With this new brush, she adores being brushed, presents herself twice a day, turns to the other side, rolls on her back and would let me brush 24/7!
