Almost perfect

This leash is supple yet strong with a very comfortable padded loop hold. It is light in weight and the color is vibrant (blue). The secondary loop hold near the clasp could be just another inch or two further from the clasp to improve the handler's reach: it's ok for me at 5'2'', but my husband who is 6' has to bend to grasp it.

Wish my GSD didn’t insist on sneaking it into the back seat to nibble on however the leash is durable, comfortable for me to walk her on and the lower 2nd handle is great where I’m a bit on the short side!

These are perfect for training the control of a very active dog. My Labrador Retriever is super strong and sixteen months old. This double leash saves me from him landing me on the ground, I'm a small female and while I had him in training, the trainer recommended this leash, it has been a life saver, I highly recommend this leash. This blue one is my second one, I want them in my cars and home

Stitching came apart

Seemed well made but stitching came apart at handle and neoprene let loose. Otherwise the two handle function works well, with the shorter handle giving you good control in crowded areas or in cities. It's kinda heavy too and hangs down if there's slack in the leash.

I've bought two of these and the lower handle has come unstitched on both. It leaves me with a still useable, basic leash, but I bought this for the sole purpose of having a second handle.

Great control leash

I had been looking for a leash with the double hand hold, and it was not easy. I own two strong dogs and keeping them close to me with the second handle is needed at times. I am also working on leash training and this has helped me a lot. My only regret is that I did not get a shorter leash. The longer leash that I got is a little clumsy when holding onto the shorter handle but I know my dogs will appreciate the longer leash when I give them more leeway.

Well satisfied on all levels

This is an excellent leash for keeping your dog at your side. The short handle is the perfect distance for allowing a loose lead while the dog heels while the end handle allows the opportunity for exploration and doing their business. I use it with the gentle leader head collar. This has made it possible for an elderly lady to walk a dog that constantly pulled ahead and it is plenty strong for a 50 lb dog to be reined in when needed.

Handles are soft and comfortable. The leash material is smooth and pliable. The clip feels well made and secure with no play in the mechanism.

Length is different

I ordered this same leash (same brand and same length) within the last 2 years... Both my husband and I like the length and traffic handle placement and reflective quality.... So I ordered a new one and the placement of the handle is different and the length is longer. He rides the bike while our Golden runs alongside (for short distances, and she LOVES it) but it is hard to adjust to the change in length. Other than that it seems fine.... Just note that it is not the same.
