Can I feed this to my adult leopard gecko?

Answer by ChewyMar 28, 2020
This diet is best for insectivorous reptiles such as anoles, basilisks, bearded dragons, chameleons, geckos and water dragons.

Would thing be okay for a baby bearded dragon?

Answer by ChewyJan 23, 2021
This food can be used by juvenile and adult Bearded Dragons.

So this can be fed to a bearded dragon alone with no other food or insects required or would I still need to supplement it with gut loaded insects?

Answer by ChewySep 08, 2021
This recipe should make up at least 50% of your reptiles intake. Supplemental food items like insects, produce, and meat should be provided to your reptile.

Also would I still have to feed my bearded dragon salads and veggies with this ?

Answer by ChewySep 08, 2021
It is recommended to feed to insectivores at a rate of at least 50% of reptiles' intake. Feed intake will vary based on animal body size and lifestage, level of activity and environmental temperature. For the other half of their diet, produce should consist primarily of leafy greens, with limited fruit and high sugar vegetables to minimize sugar consumption which can cause gastrointestinal tract disturbances. Any live insects fed to the reptiles should be appropriately supplemented to balance the nutrition they provide.

My beardie loves this! She does not like a lot of veggies and won't eat other food mixes. I bought this to try and help her gain weight so that I can start a healthy eating plan. I topped the food with some mealworms to pique her interest and she accidentally tasted this food. From then on, she actively waits for it each morning and will eat most of it. This food has had an incredible impact on my beardie's food drive and I am so grateful for it. Will definitely buy again!!

Something different to try

My bearded dragon won't touch it. But then again he's very picky. Some bearded dragons might eat this but not mine

Beardie eats this well.

I worry about fresh greens & crickets not being eaten when offerred, that he won't get enough to eat. Having a cup with this in it has helped me sleep at night

I worry about fresh greens & crickets not being eaten when offerred, that he won't get enough to eat. Having a cup with this in it has helped me sleep at night. I put a tablespoon of it in a bowl and refill it when he empties it, which is maybe once a week. He is healthy & I am happy.

Little dragon food

So, my little bearded dragon would not eat this for anything. I even tried to mix it with her normal pellets. The older beardy loves it though.

I'm not sure if he likes it

I moisten this and add it to salad mixes. I think he eats it because it is on his other food, I don't ever see him making a point to make sure he eats it. I'm not

Dragon wouldn't touch it

My Dragon wouldn't eat this food. Tried to use it as a salad topper, tried to mix it with live bugs, didn't eat it. Mine may just be picky, I'm not sure.

Picky lizard

I tried this with my blue tongue skink. My lizard refused to even give this a try. Complete waste of my money. I ended up giving it to my local rodent breeder instead

I tried this with my blue tongue skink. My lizard refused to even give this a try. Complete waste of my money. I ended up giving it to my local rodent breeder instead where Mazuri is the same brand of dry diet that they feed their rats. Their rats will eat everything my lizard not so much. Wouldn't even recognize it as food.
