Happy with this leash

I prefer a 4-ft leash, especially at obedience classes or general walking. This has a nice feel to it and seems like it will last. There was a nice color combo that matches my dog's collar.

Comfy!

I wanted a leash that would be soft on my hands but sturdy. This fit the bill. It is smoothly soft and wonderfully limp. It is strong too (I've only had it 2 weeks.) I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to anyone.

decent leash

while the leash appears to be well made, I have reservations about using leather at the "tied" ends. We all know what happens to leather after getting wet a few times. I would have preferred some kind of synthetic material that would hold up better in wet conditions.

Heavy duty but soft on the hands

I purchased two of these for our Lab and Lab-bully pups, as I wanted a leash that was a bit softer on the hands when walking two excitable pups at once. I like to slip the handle loop of a leash around my wrist, for a bit more control, and that can be quite uncomfortable with traditional flat nylon leashes. These rope leashes are heavy duty without being overly thick, and the colors are vibrant and pretty. It's easy to hook our poop-bag holder and collapsible water bowl to the leash. The clip is large enough to clip to both the collar and harness front-loop at the same time, which is a must for me.

Looks nice but is very slick

I like the way this leash looks, but I did not expect the rope material to be so slippery. In hindsight, the rope is made completely out of synthetic material instead of cotton, jute or some sort of natural fiber. As a result, the leash slides right through your hands when you wear gloves/mittens. When walking my dog out in the cold, I have to remove a glove from one hand, which means we cannot stay out for long! This was an unexpected and disappointing shortcoming for a nice looking leash. If you live in a warm climate, this could be the perfect leash for you! Otherwise, I would think twice before buying.
