We introduced to him slowly (he was a stray and learning how to live indoors)... pan only, then added sides, then added lid with flap taped up, then the flap.... over the course of two weeks. Now he uses it and litter stays where it belongs. Highly recommend.
Great product but my cats are picky

We got a second litterbox for our 3 cats now that we moved to a larger apartment. This seemed like a wonderful litterbox to put in the bathroom. The grey color matches our millennial great decor. Its a sturdy litterbox with a stainless steel bottom that has sturdy little pads on the bottom so it doesnt slide around. The bottom of the box is smooth all the way across so no litter gets trapped in grooves or anything like that. The top comes in 2 parts- one that had the sides covered and clips to the steel pan and then a lid with a swinging door that connects to the sides with magnets. For a litterbox, its sleek as heck! Problem is - my cats are so picky!! They would NOT use the box with the door on it. I tried taping it and they finally used it. When the tape failed, I knew because they left me a "gift" right outside the box. So i easily took the door off. The only one to use it is our 5 lbs older cat. The older cat is now the only one to use it. I dont know why on earth the bigger 2 cats dont use it besides they feel claustrophobic. I know they fit! They have gone inside!! The old lady uses it though and cat easily climb in and out. The matt that came with it is super helpful to catch the litter that inevitability tracks on their paws. Its super easy to clean, i just wipe it down with a disinfectant cloth when it needs it. Cleaning the litter is super easy because i just easily remove the lid with one hand and replace it when im done and it locks into place woth the magnets.theres plenty of room to see in the litterbox and clean it even with the sides on. Overall I really love this litter box. I just wish all my cats loved it too.
Great metal litter box
This litter box is large with plenty of room for my 16 pound cat. It is very easy to access and both cats prefer this box over their other litter boxes.

I do like that you can take part of the top off off to clean, but the smell and cleaning are about the same as my other box. I will add that it arrived with a gel for the top filter that smelled amazing and masked the odors remarkably well, but I can’t find a way to get more of that.

The pan is HUGE, it's big enough that I'll be replacing both of my XL domes with just this one box. It also comes with a bag holder, scooper, and a scent tablet to go on top of the box. It has a 2 step lid for either a swinging flap, or if your kitties don't like that it also has a half top for just walls on the side. The bottom is stainless steel, so it has good heft to keep in in place. Finally, it also includes a litter mat and extra command dots to keep the mat in place. If you are getting your first cat, this will get you set up very nicely.

I am very pleased with this stainless steel covered cat litter box! Just to clarify the box bottom is stainless and the sides and top are plastic. The plastic top cover comes off very easily in order to scoop. It came with so many extras: scoop, bags, box for bags that hangs on the side, carbon filter for the top of the box, and mat with tape for outside the litter box. My wish is that it came with more than one carbon filter. The only part of this box that my cats didn’t like is the door. I have never used a front box with a door so they did not know how to use it. I took the door off and they now use it daily! Great purchase!

i was so excited to use this i love the setup and the stuff that comes with it and the fact the lid comes off to clean is great BUT if you have a cat who lifts their butt up when peeing this box is NOT for you. the pee leaks out of the cracks where the box separates. i had to deep clean my walls and floor and it stank for an entire day even after the box and bathroom had a full clean.

I love that the top portion of lid is magnetic - I always hate unclipping the whole top to scoop so I’d always had an open litter box before this, but this is also easy. My boyfriend appreciates that it’s enclosed and contains the smell of one cat’s daily morning stink bomb.
Major design flaws and huge waste of money

As others have noted, these pieces do not seal together and it results in MAJOR urine leakage out the back and sides. The other issue is the litterbox entrance. There is a 1-2 inch lip on the inside of the box around the opening that prevents the cat from using the front corners of the box. Cats like their corners, and this means the only place for them to go is the back corners, which compounds the issue of pee leaking out the back. Aside from that, stainless steel is a good idea in concept, but at the end of the day this box is still 2/3 plastic and it still smells like a litter box. Huge waste of money ... now excuse me while I go order a standard plastic box to replace this money pit!

Meow meow mom and furbabies are ecstatic by this purchase. I was looking for an affordable stainless steel litter pan I knew if I can to Chewy I would have success. I have a one yr old and a 14 yr old feline I was nervous because they have different litter needs. But we have adjusted to this fancy stainless steel box. My next goal is to switch out all other plastic pans until I only have stainless steel. Which I believe is healthy for them and with all the scraping my kitten does I shouldn't have to worry about particles. I love the reinforced lid. Jaspa and Ashez no more plastic
