How much maximum fat?

Merrick does not guarantee a maximum fat content because the finished product can vary in composition due to ingredient composition. Fat has a 10% variance allowance. However, most foods very closely target the fat level, so expect very little variance in the nutrient as they formulated it to target the minimum as close as possible.

Have a mid-sized dog (i.e. 60 to 75 lbs). She has been served a 50 percent mixture of dry food and Merrick can food for about 15 years. However, for the past few months her favorite flavors have not been in stock at local pet stories in my area. So, I switched to this Chopped Lamb flavor and my dog enjoys it. Did not rate this product with 5 stars because, while the photo on the can shows green peas after using two cases, I have never seen any.

While I did like the consistency of the Merrick venison holiday stew I also ordered, I'll never purchase the BBQ with lamb again and cannot recommend it. The cans were not filled all the way, was extremely watery. and had an odd odor to it. I didn't feed it after the first can as it did not agree with my Aussies and they had diarrhea.

Defiantly try it !!

My chihuahua Thomas is kinda picky with dog food but quite enjoys the chunks of meat. Definitely recommend it and will be getting a few more for my little guy.

By the smell alone, you can tell that the ingredients were fresh and fit to be gobbled up by the most active of pups! The only way I could think of improving this product is receiving more in each can so I will definitely be buying it again!
