Good dry kibble topper
I feed my dog Wellness Senior, but he likes a little wet food mixed in. I am using Merrick currently because it's a good brand and convenient to order. I mix up the flavors; he likes everything. I don't use it as his main food, it's just a little bit to make the kibble more interesting.

I received this dog food for free in exchange for my honest review. I’m so glad Bella was able to try this! I added to Bella’s dry kibble which is what I customarily do with wet food. She usually gets half a can at a time. I love it is made in the USA and has no artificial ingredients. I could see the peas and other mix ins that were a part of the meal. It was like taking our Tha Lego Omg dinner and mixing it up to feed to her! It also did not have that distinct “wet food” smell that most canned dog foods have. Bella ate every bit of it and left the dry kibble that wasn’t coated in it. I would say it was a win and we will definitely be purchasing Merrick canned food in the future with our chewy orders. I’m very happy with the food and I know Bella is as well. (She’s 13 and 84 pounds, large breed, Doberman) Bella and I recommend this food for sure, it’s a winner!
Merrick Grain Free Thanksgiving Day Dinner
I received the Merrick Grain Free Thanksgiving Day Dinner in exchange for an honest opinion. I have 3 dogs, 2 are picky and the 1 will eat anything. I am happy to report that all 3 gobbled it up and really seemed to enjoy it. My only complaint is that it smelled kind of like play dough, and the consistency left something to be desired. However, I digress, it's not like I was going to eat it.
Early thanksgiving for your pets!
Honestly I was pretty excited about giving this too my husbands grandparents dog since he's always eating a mixture of everything. He's a small dog so when we opened up the can we gave him portions of the wet food throughout the day so he wouldn't over eat. Let's say he ate that thang up! lol but hey who's to say that dogs can't have an early thanksgiving? By the looks of it though, it seems like mason (the dog) enjoyed his meals. There's a good amount of food in the can and the ingredients in there are very healthy and contain good protein as well. I didn't find the smell to be awful I mean I don't sniff dog food when I open it but sometimes you can just catch a big whiff when you open it. This one was a tolerable smell. I would definitely buy more of these but in different varieties.
Fancy Dinner for our Doggo
I received this product for free in return for my honest review. We don’t typically give our dog wet food (we do mix in some water with his dry food so soften it up), so it’s a special treat when we give him wet food. When we, ourselves, have a nice dinner, we like our pupper to get involved with a nice dinner too. This Thanksgiving Day Dinner by Merrick was perfect for our Samoyed! We gave him half the can mixed in with his dry food (didn’t want an upset tummy with only new food), and he INHALED it! He was even excited to see the can was for him! The consistency was more gravy like, instead of being a solid form of mush you have to scrape out of the can. I could see the veggies in there too. The smell wasn’t repulsive like other wet dog foods can be either. I would definitely get this again for our next at home celebratory dinner.
My dog loves it
I don't give my dog wet food that often, it's really used more for a treat and when I say she gobbled this up, I knew she loved this! She also has a very sensitive stomach and this did not upset her at all. I've started to incorporate more Merrick wet food into her diet and I really believe it's helped her digestive system and soothes her very picky tummy, I absolutely love this for her and highly recommend!
Waffle and Mimi approved!
I am a rescue volunteer and my dog Waffle (pomeranian) just welcomed a new foster "fail" sister named Mimi into the home and poor Mimi came from a rough background and was scared to death. She wasn't eating. I received this sample around the time she arrived and was desperate for her trust so I opened and split it with the girls and Mimi came out of the crate and ate right next to Waffle and I swear it was the moment she knew everything was going to be ok. Now, I've ordered more Merrick food and they are definitely not complaining. I'm a new customer, but I'll definitely keep purchasing!
