I had high hopes my little poodle would like this Duck Pate. But no she truned up her nose. I was so unhappy. I thought forsure she would like this food.

Yummiest combo
Since losing my front teeth, Mom noticed I wasn't excited about my food. She is now added some this to my Merrick senior Lil Plates crunches and I come running. She makes quaking noises so I know when it's yummy time. Thank you, Mom

Grey goop that smells bad.
I wanted it to go well when I tried to switch my old dog to a Texas made line of grain free food, both dry and wet from Merrick, but my poor dog has been miserably itching ever since. Additionally, their wet foods all look the same regardless of primary protein ingredient- grey and smelly sludge. No more Merrick products for this household.

He’s been having teeth issues & being over 12 & realizing he’s not a pup anymore it was time to get soft food for him. Of course he loves it! The only downside is it has peas & potatoes in it. Especially peas that’s been recommended by FDA to keep dogs away from all peas beans & lentils (to include garbanzo & green beans etc.) because of the heart problems. These are Fillers for grain free kibble. They block the absorption of Taurine & causes DCM where if gone untreated will eventually kill the pet. I mix half with his regular food to give it flavor after adding water to soften. He’s very happy & not suffering with teeth issues nearly as much.That’s all that matters. If Merrick removed those, I happily would give 10 stars.
