Merry Products 2-in-1 Configurable Dog & Cat Crate & Gate

I had this set up as a crate for one day. The latch popped off when my dog (who is crate trained) pushed on it in excitement when she saw me coming. If she had decided to break out of it, she could have done it in less than 10 seconds. I then decided to use it as a barrier, but the end piece fell as I was moving it into place and the wood completely split. It is useless now. The idea is great but the materials are completely cheap.

This kennel is amazing! We love it and more importantly our pup, Roman loves it. It is now his favorite place to take naps, hide his most cherished toys and treats. We also like that the bars go all the way to the floor so he can see us while he’s laying in the kennel. We highly recommend this kennel/crate/gate combo.

Nice crate, however, smaller than advertised (I ordered the medium and would need the large for my American Bulldog). Dog refused to enter crate because it was darker than she is accustomed to. Returning.

Easy to put together & take apart because sides are held together with pins, not screws ( no tools needed!). Serves as a very nice end table and you can easily undo and use as a gate. Very pleased with my purchase!

Our puppy’s first night home and she slept through the night with a few potty breaks. The quality of the crate and her acceptance made it an easy decision to purchase another for our family room.

Beau and Danigirl here. After five years our people parents got their nightstands back and we love our new crates. We sleep on our backs with all fours in the air and have needed a little more space for a while now. And our parents love the crates at the end of their bed for a bench addition. Now....Chewy is bed And breakfast for us! :)

This kennel is much higher quality than the typical wire crate. It is easy to assemble and portable. I like the ability to configure it as a fence or barrier if needed. Higher price but well worth it!

Bought this crate because it also converts to a gate. I've been using it for about a month now and I would recommend it. Here's what I like: a. Nice quality b. Easy to assemble alone c. The top is optional. I leave it off and I like that the dogs can see more with the top off. d. Good size. I ordered two medium crates and had to send one back because the medium was more than sufficient for my 16-pound Bichon and 19-pound Shih Tzu. They could have done cartwheels in the large but I don't have that kind of living room space. e. Chewy as always has the best customer service in the history of customer service. Took my extra crate return back with free shipping and no hassle. The product could Bought this crate because it also converts to a gate. The product should ideally have notched grooves that the removable plastic floor tray can be set firmly into. Right now the floor pan just loosely moves around. c. Reduce the price of the crate itself and sell the table top part as an optional accessory. I don't ever need that part and as heavy as it was, it might be the most expensive part of the crate. This crate is awesome. My dog loves it. He watched as I put it together and was getting inside as I was sitting it in the corner of the room.

This crate is designed beautifully. It looks like a piece of furniture. It’s heavy (50lbs)so not very mobile. Makes a nice addition to your living space.
