Wonky Construction

I followed assembly instructions up to the last step, which was to screw the longer post with hammock to the base. There were only two holes in the base, one for

I followed assembly instructions up to the last step, which was to screw the longer post with hammock to the base. There were only two holes in the base, one for the round hut and one for the post. However, the hole for the post was placed so it was impossible to align it upright and screw it in. To connect it at all required screwing it in at a slant. It is not clear to me how long this is going to last, given the energetic jumping into the top bed and scratching that my 3 cats are already doing. It's a lot to spend for something that is not likely to last long.

This tree is lovely to look at and I like the materials and if you have cats under 6lbs it’s probably amazing. It was fairly easy to put together. If my large Siamese mix 12 pounds gets in the hammock it tips right over. The upper bed fits one but not both cats that well. They have like running around on it. Mango likes hiding in the cubby and Chai likes the nest on top. Wish it was more balanced/slightly sturdier and fit big cats

Easy to assemble. Actually placed it on a table so he can see out a window. Opted to not hang the small ball. Lad jumps from a bed onto the tree and did not want to chance him being injured from the edge where the ball is attached. We can hear him scratching on the posts. We had an area size issue and this is the tree best suited. Lots of fun areas without taking up much space.
