What is the difference in the iCrate and Lifestages versions?

Some iCrate Models (1518 - 1536) are narrower and lower than the Life Stages crates. The Wire Grid is closer together on the iCrate Models, while the Life Stages crate's Bars are closer together. If you're looking for a lighter product, then the iCrate models are for you. If you prefer a stronger product and don't mind the extra weight, the Life Stages models are for you.

Is it easy to fold and carry?

Not for dogs who try to pull the door in

We were replacing the last Midwest crate which had rusted over the last 4 years and the plastic tray had cracked. The doors on the last one had an additional measure

We were replacing the last Midwest crate which had rusted over the last 4 years and the plastic tray had cracked. The doors on the last one had an additional measure on the door to strengthen it-- you had to lift it up to unlock it. The lower part of the door overlapped the outside of the crate. The new crate doesn't have this feature and on day 1 our dog pulled the crate door in by about two inches and now the door won't open. Fortunately there are 2 doors.

This XL crate is a touch bigger then the last XL crate I purchased from another company. Which for me is a plus and for my Lab. I like that i for the bowls, pass

This XL crate is a touch bigger then the last XL crate I purchased from another company. Which for me is a plus and for my Lab. I like that i for the bowls, pass and cover with it. The pad is well designed and enough thickness that I didn't need anything else. Plus the pad has a waterproof bottom. Easy to set up, I'm very happy. Glad I went with Midwest. Doing business with Chewy was a pleasure. Thank you.

Quality kennel

The kennel has two doors, one on the width of the side, and one from the front. This is at lease our 3rd or 4th of these kennels, and they last a good 10 years.
