MidWest Cozy Crates

A Cozy Crate for Every Home

As instinctual den animals, it's important for dogs to have a comfy place to nest. Crates also help with potty training and reducing habits like chewing or barking, while providing a safe, den-like home for your fur baby. MidWest designs their crates with safety, security and comfort as their priority. No matter the age of your dog, you're sure to find the right fit for your unique pal.

Convenience and Comfort, All in One

For a lightweight crate that requires no tools, folds flat, and still has the security of heavy-duty slide-bolt latches, look no further than the MidWest iCrate. It’s made for easygoing dogs and even comes with a divider panel so it can grow with your pup. Pair that with a removable, ease-to-clean plastic pan, sturdy carrying handle, and surface protective rubber feet to create the recipe for a crate made just for your dog.

A Crate for All LifeStages

Made with heavy-gauge steel and wire mesh, MidWest's Life Stages is a sturdy cage that can offer extra security. Rubber rollers protect your floors while a sturdy carrying handle makes it easy to move before your pal gets in. With rounded corners to protect your dog, slide bolt latches to keep him safely inside, and a divider panel that can be moved—and removed as your pup grows—it's a crate for all life stages.

Secure, Sturdy and Safe

For optimal security and safety, the Ultima Pro is MidWest's most durable crate, made of professional-gauge steel designed to stand up to chewers and stronger dogs. The dual door access allows your dog to enter and exit on either side—but only when you say so! Your dog will feel safe and cozy in this retreat, made just for those pups who need a little extra safekeeping.

I needed an indoor kennel for my 75lb dog after his knee surgery. It came well packed and the parts were easily identifiable. I was able to easily assemble the frame by myself and got help to attach the fencing. After his recovery I will probably repurpose the kennel to a catio.

Size good, went together easy but you need two people. Fence fabric not as heavy as I would like but it’s working for two large mixed breed dogs I am fostering. Easy to pickup and move underneath carport for heat protection and rain. Would be nice if door was a bit wider but it’s working.

I purchased these in January and just my dogs jumping up on the chain-link has caused the chain-link to bend and create large holes. Contacted the manufacturer, manufacture. Don’t care that you just spent $319 on a cage that you can’t return this absolutely falling apart. Comes with plastic zip ties to hold a chain-link together which bust all the time. The framing is so loose fit that it comes apart easily. This is extremely poor quality.

This is a great product, it is easy to assemble and is well made. We purchased this for our 7 year old bulldog to stay in while we are working in our garden and cannot keep an eye on her at all times. She doesn't need alot of space (we purchased the smaller unit, which is 4'x6'), but we did want to provide her shade. and security. She enjoys being off leash while in there and typically lays down while keeping an eye on us. The chain link and steel posts are sturdy yet the pen is lightweight enough for one person to slide around for relocation. Lock is a bit clunky but after a few tries you get the hang of the operation. Highly recommend.

I purchased this as a way to confine my 90lb Labrador Retriever following major leg surgery. I did have the product in the house. The fencing along the base was completely secure; however, within 30 minutes of being left inside the pen, he chewed the zip ties and managed to crawl out through this tiny opening at the bottom! While this is probably a good product, if you have a determined dog like mine, it may not work for you.

Fairly easy to put together, had someone help me though so it may be frustrating to put it up by yourself. The wire seems slightly flimsy too but this kennel is to house my grandmothers small dogs so it stands up okay to them jumping on it. My biggest problem is the gate, the bolts are so long and point inward so when you are leaving the very narrow gate you have to be careful or you’ll scrape yourself and it hurts!
