Has been fantastic for 3 years!
I don't know why this has so many negative reviews, but they're clearly not following the instructions. The gate can be opened on either side, depending on which latches you want undo. Undo the top left and bottom left to open to the right or open the top right and bottom right to open to the left. Alternatively, you can undo all the latches and completely leave the door off. Y'all reviewers obviously didn't put it together correctly because I've had zero issues with it over the last three years of use.
No Good
bought the crate several months ago to have ready for our new puppy. Unfortunately the doodads that hold the gate to the crate are poorly engineered, and the gate posts and do not close properly. The gate posts are too short to stay in the doodads. The holes that are supposed to close and open do not line up right to keep the gate in place....so the gate falls out all the time.
Great travel crate!
This was so easy to put together and only took a few minutes! Then I took our 15 lb dog for a ride in the car. He laid down and relaxed in the crate right away. Also, the crate was quiet with no unnecessary rattling (which can be quite irritating while driving.) I think this will get a lot of use in the car for our little guy!
Excellent 2nd option
This carrier goes together very quickly and easily. I was reluctant about the tab assembly but it works great! It has a top and bottom knob on both sides to open the door. All the plastic pieces fit well and operate nicely. Perfect size for any Kitty. A great choice if yer on a budget.
Broken but should work
I am getting a puppy tomorrow and my chewy order came in today. This had decent reviews and was in my budget so I got it. When I opened the box and pulled it out I noticed part of it was broke. The knob doesnt fit snugly and I dont trust carrying the carrier by the handle with my pets inside because it may pop out. The plastic is kind of flimsy, but it should work for at least getting my pup and taking my pets to the vet. But set up isnt bad, pretty easy. Would have loved this if it didnt come broken.

This is for the advertisement photo. It shows a dog that is way too big for the kennel advertised. It should show the dog in an appropriate sized kennel: one the dog doesn’t have to duck down to get into. I say this because new pet owners need as much guidance as possible. In other words, they don’t know any better and may buy an inappropriately sized kennel and think their dog is comfortable in it and it’s not.
It’s good for in a pinch
I bought it since it was on sale and I was looking for a 2nd cat carrier. Easy to put together but I feel it’s not the most sturdy. I bought the medium sized one. On the plus side it’s easy to wipe clean and bigger than I expected.
Crate doesn’t have one lock
I would love this crate if it had a one handle to lock it. It has 2 knobs on the top and on the bottom to lock it and it isn’t really easy.
Great pet crate
Got this for my new puppy, it was easy to assemble, easy to clean, as it comes apart easily with pin clips, and my dog felt comfortable and secure in the crate. No problems whatsoever. Highly recommend for small puppies and small breeds
Perfect for Poodle
I purchased this kennel for my toy poodle to sleep in while visiting family. I ordered the medium size and there was room for him to turn around. I placed a towel in the bottom for added comfort and gave him a few chew toys. He had a great nights rest.
