Are there special connectors needed to connect the crate to the exercise pen?

The LifeStages Exercise Pen can be connected to any MidWest crate. Be sure the crate is assembled according to the printed instructions. Connect the two ends of the pen to the crate, using the four included snaps.

There's a chance this exercise pen can scratch wood floors. We recommend using a floor cover to avoid any damage.

perfect play yard

Love this fencing. I use it both outside and inside occasionally. If you have a jumper I'm not sure this will hold up but my little 12 pounder doesn't jump

BIGGER THAN EXPECTED!

This play pen was way bigger than expected. it isn't the sturdiest & if your dog loves to jump, this may not be tall enough for them.

Average size gate

I use this gate indoors for when my family visits. It contains my chihuahuas since they bark at everyone. It is not too confined since the top is open but it is just big enough to keep your small pet contained for a few hours

small height

Our small French Bulldog climbs out of this easily, doesn’t help me if I walk out of the room even. Dog must be too small to stand and reach the top or climb for it to work.

Would Recommend

Love it, perfect for my 6 lb small dog. Easy assembly and good ground reinforcement to keep the gates in place. Resistant to rain without peeling the paint. Would recommend!

Pink Dog Playpen

I purchased this to contain my mini dachshund after her knee surgery. I attached her matching pink crate to the pen (which was super easy) and I now have a safe place for her. The pen is also cute and larger than expected which was a plus. Something else to note is that I’m 5’6 and I can sleep in the pen with her during the night (to calm her down) if needed. 5/5

Safe and secure

It doesn't take a lot of space when folded. It is easy to set and it has plenty of room for my puppy to move. I put the bed and feeding bowls. Left her there when I need to go out for a few hours.

Works for Us

This sturdy and pretty X-pen arrived quickly and was as described. We love the blue color which goes with our decor. We have two 4 lb. Maltese that are able to move between their beds, water bowl and piddle pad with extra space for each to lounge on the floor. MidWest is a brand we trust and anticipate this will hold up well for the lifetime of our little ones.
