Used this fence to separate a resident cat and have adopted my mom's cat after she passed away. Our resident cat is Siamese. The gate is high enough so they can't leap over. They are able to see each other but not physically interact yet.

This gate works very well. We have 2 Great Danes and 2 Boston Terriers, and you'd think they'd jump such a low gate. But it works great, we can step over it, but

Sofia demonstrated the many ways she could get over it - climbing it, jumping it outright. And in so doing she also demonstrated it’s sturdiness. It served its purpose for us. Kind of a Pain

This gate is a pain with it's sliding mechanism; getting it to fit my door was no easy task so once it's in place don't be looking to easily get close/expand it
