Seems pretty good so far
By Woof1 on Dec 14, 2020
I haven't had to use this in a doorway yet but so far it seems pretty study. The checkered wiring is better than the cheap plastic found in typical baby gates so I think that should help. There's a small area to push in on to release the bar instead of simply pulling up. That may help keep it in place better, I'm not sure. I like the height for sure and am glad we were able to purchase it on a black Friday sale.

So far so good
By AmyT on Jan 10, 2021
I looked at a lot of different fences and thought this would be the best because of the height it works well in all doorframes so far I’m very pleased with it the only downfall is the wood is a little soft and our puppy has already chewed it

Big helper
By ryanthomas on Dec 13, 2020
Helps keep my dog in the defined areas he is allowed to go, once you learn how to work it (it’s simple) it’s easy to move and very convenient. He’s never tried to mess with it or jump over it, I recommend this gate!

Didn’t work
By Babysmom on Nov 10, 2020
We bought this gate for our new kitty, and when we put it up it wasn’t snug like it said that it would. It was really loose in the door frame, and our cat was able to push the bottom out, and it fell on her!! It was super flimsy!! We hadn’t even had the thing for an hour...

MidWest Wood/Wire Mesh Pet Gate
By Lacey on Dec 26, 2020
The gate was perfect for a few days but then my 8 month old kitten jumped over it several times which defeated the whole idea of the purchase.

By Patty on Dec 19, 2020
Perfect! Has kept 3 month old kitten on one side and 16 year old set-in-her-ways cat in the other and is easy for us humans to go back & forth!

do not get for introducing cats
By RACHEL on Jul 24, 2020
It’s not a true pressure release gate and super flimsy - the new cat figured out that they could just pull it open and got out - then we tried to tape it to the wall pretty securely (but not secure enough as she still found out how to lift the tape up and get out. $88 wasted on a super flimsy mesh gate that (surprise) both cats could just cling and jump over. Don’t get if you’re introducing cats.

Waste of Money
By DonnaK on Jul 14, 2020
I'm really disappointed in this product. Two weeks after purchase it started to come apart. I've fixed it several times and it keeps breaking apart further so that's it pretty much trash now. Considering that I use it about twice a week I would have expected this to hold up better. The original one I still have, lower height, is over ten years old and works perfectly.
