Did not last 3minutes with my 60lb dog

I let my dog out back to do his thing before our walk. In the time from the backyard to the front yard that leash tore right in half. Not even bad stictxhingit tore

Match broke after 10 months

I really enjoyed the leash for 10 months before the latch broke on a walk. My dog is a runner and this is an extreme safety issue and caused me a lot of distress

I really enjoyed the leash for 10 months before the latch broke on a walk. My dog is a runner and this is an extreme safety issue and caused me a lot of distress. We were very fortunate to have caught her. I figured maybe this was either a faulty leash or normal wear and tear, but couldn’t find anything from the company that explicitly recommends a regular replacement cycle. After reading some similar reviews, I realize this is a more common issue and not a one-off or normal wear and tear, which is extremely disappointing. I’m only giving it 2 stars because the double handle is incredibly convenient and comfortable when the latch does work. I’m disappointed because I did really enjoy this leash but will not be purchasing from mighty paw again.
