This product contains Salt. The ingredients are Wheat Flour, Meat and Bone Meal, Sugar, Dried Poultry By-Products Digest, Cooked Bone Marrow Beef Fat (Preserved with Tocopherols), Salt, Corn Starch, Annatto Color, Red Iron Oxide (Color), Red 40, Sodium Metabisulfite (Used As A Preservative).

Regarding the packaging, the manufacturer states, "At this time our MaroSnacks 36oz packaging is not recyclable or biodegradable. With this being said, we are working on solutions to make our packaging sustainable for the environment."

inedible

My dogs absolutely refused to eat these maro bones. I did not want to waste them so I put the entire contents of the jar in a pie pan in the alley for the strays

My dogs absolutely refused to eat these maro bones. I did not want to waste them so I put the entire contents of the jar in a pie pan in the alley for the strays in the neighborhood and 1 week later not one bone was missing (LOL) this has never happened with any food I have left for the strays they always eat every scrap every time. As far as I can see milk bone owes me a refund.

Bone marrow milk-bone

My dog only eat the outside of the treat and ignore the bone marrow inside.. which is strange because he likes the real bone barrow when we cook, but it’s too fatty
