Decent Ear Cleaner

I love care products that can cover both dogs and cats so I don’t have to buy separate products that function the same. My cat had an ear infection earlier this year that cost a bunch of money at the vet, so I’ve added regular ear cleaning as part of my dog/cat’s maintenance routine. The pads are well saturated with plenty of cleaning solution. The size of the pad isn’t too big, so it’s fine for smaller dogs or cats. The liquid solution on the pads is also a blue color, so light dirt doesn’t really show clearly. I actually prefer a white-colored pad so I can gauge the cleanliness of the ear.

The only issue is that the pads are a little hard to separate and peel off in layers making it hard to determine whether you’re getting half of one, or three at a time. They are saturated with product and really do the trick to clean my pups’ ears in about 20 seconds! Love it.

The small size and easy to open packaging make these ear cleaning wipes very convenient. But the odor is quite unpleasant. My dog is well trained for grooming tasks, including ear cleaning but he chooses to not come near these pads. The fragrance is medicinal and lingers for too long. We immediately returned to our cotton ball with a more pleasant smelling cleaner dipped onto it. Will not buy again nor recommend these pads.
