These pads work well for cleaning eye discharge and tear buildup, but I found there’s a lot of liquid, and it can sting a bit if used directly. I now apply the solution

These pads work well for cleaning eye discharge and tear buildup, but I found there’s a lot of liquid, and it can sting a bit if used directly. I now apply the solution to a cotton pad first, then gently wipe it on, which works much better for my kitten. Effective overall, just requires a lighter touch for sensitive eyes.

Love in a jar

Clementine was a rescue pup when we brought her home. Clem is incredibly intelligent with a sweet and happy disposition. And yet her little body bears the deep scars

Clementine was a rescue pup when we brought her home. Clem is incredibly intelligent with a sweet and happy disposition. And yet her little body bears the deep scars indicative of severe abuse. Some of the worst scarring is on her throat. According to our vet, this trauma is more than likely the cause of her watery eyes. So every morning I say,“‘C’mon Clem, let’s go do your eyes.” She books it over to where we keep the the jar, sits and waits for me. All it takes is one pad, a few gentle swipes on each eye, and our little girl is happily tear-free for the rest of the day. I’d give anything to take away all the pain and terror she endured. These healing wipes are a good start.
