Final product is manufactured and tested in Salt Lake City, UT and is a ISO 13485 certified manufacturer. ISO 13485 is a regulatory standard that certifies the company is meeting rigorous regulatory requirements and maintaining the effectiveness of the QMS (Quality System Management). It demonstrates a commitment to safety and quality of medical devices. BioHAnce is created by making two modifications to hyaluronic acid. They purchase medical grade hyaluronic acid made by a fermentation process that is free of animal products, which is modified and purified prior to use in their dermal and ocular formulations. My boy has cherry eye in both eyes. I use a prescription ointment in the morning and these drops at night and it reliably provides complete relief in his case. Only complaint is that the bottle wrap has declined in quality and takes careful cuts from a sharp pair of scissors to open and remove the excess wrap. Otherwise this does exactly what I says on the box. Thanks!

My 14 year old pug is blind in one eye and losing vision in the other. Both eyes get irritated, but the drops are long lasting and makes him more comfortable. I know he appreciates the drops: he stands patiently waiting and allows the treatment. And he has always resisted eye drops in the past.

So my 18 year old cat has been getting some mucus in his left eye. I did a virtual vet appointment for him because he is a terrible boy at the vet. Well the virtual vet prescribed some antibiotic ointment and said if that does not work to take him to an in person vet to be tested for dry eyes. Well because Jack is such a terrible boy (has been banned from multiple vets. But is the cuddliest boy at home) well anyway I tried this! It’s a bit hard to get it in his eye, not because of the medication or anything but because he’s a pain. Anyway, he is not having anymore mucus in his eye! It does water some time but there’s no longer globs and nasty in there! So glad for this stuff.

Works Better than the Vet Prescription!

These drops are amazing! They work better for my Pug's dry eye than the medicine the vet prescribed. I love this product!

Good quality eye drop

These are one of the few eye drops that can help loosen gunk from Sadie's eyeball. She has dry eye and gets medicated ointment too. But sometimes she has a gunky film that is very sticky and hard to remove so she can see a little. This is one of the few drops that coats the eye and will loosen this film and allow me to rinse and wipe it away. That said, sometime it is difficult to dispense a drop or two and it is easy to contaminate the dropper. My vet has suggested I buy regular human eyedrops without preservatives in them. They come in small, individual vials, so each dose is sterile. She is now on a compound medicated eye drop (cyclosporine which you must be careful handing, since it tamps down the immune system) as she is losing her eyesight. That of course is irritating to the eyes also but at least both things do not need to be. Treating dry eye can be difficult and expensive. These are really good drops to keep the eyes lubricated but will not take the place of prescription ointment. Dry eye is an autoimmune disorder and without proper treatment the pet will eventually lose their eyesight, maybe their eyes, since they are prone to infection. But this is a good item to have in your toolbox to use throughout the day. I carry it in my purse.

squeeze bottle "hole" didn't work

I had to puncture the bottle hole for it to work. I used a straight pin to open it up. I "think" it helps my dog's eyes, not sure.

Great for dog's dry eye

This helps my doberman who suffers from dry eye syndrome year round. It's best if you can apply every 6 hours, but even twice a day helps tremendously!
