Recommended by Top Eye Specialists

We have a pug who has had corneal ulcers and pigmentation issues since he was a puppy. He now sees a very expensive eye specialist who had prescribed this for him as part of his continuing care. He has been on it for over a year now, uses it daily and it has been one of the meds that has saved his vision. Recently found it on chewy and am happy they carry it! Can't compare it to other brands, but know that this one was what our eye specialist recommends :)

Opticare ointment

It appears to be helping. I was disappointed the tube didn’t seem to be full. I had to press out a lot of air from tube.

time will tell

This product has lessened eye drainage but our dog's eye condition which shows white "cloud" over cornea seems to be permanent. Zoey doesn't appear to blink her eye as often

Fantastic product

This is not a drug but an artificial tear. One of cats sleeps with his left eye open (like right now). 'The eye goes dry. Before using this, the poor kitties used to bleed from his left eye. Cat doctors couldn't do anything, thinking it was herpies (sp?) of the eye, giving me various stuff to put in his eyes. None was any good, and in fact, the poor kittie would actually bleed into his tears. A cat eye doctor (not easy to find) diagnosed extreme dry eye, and give me this artificial tear. The kittie is cured! I put one drop (can do more if the cat need it) once a day, and presto, he is happy and therefore, i am happy!

Should be in every animal 1st aid kit

I haven't need for this product yet, but I use it at work often and know how well it works for patients. I choose to be proactive and have a first aid kit for my pets including saline eye wash and this product in case of foreign body entry to their eyes, or other things.

Keep This On Hand

This was recommended by the veterinarian at an animal hospital for my kitty who has allergies. Now I use this on both of my Persians. It helps lube eyes and I've noticed that it will soften the debris around their eyes for easy removal. If their eyes are really messy I put one drop in each eye, and I let it set while I comb them, and then I clean their eye area with the Miracle Care Eye Wash Pads. I use the pads to wipe the debris that has loosened around the eye. If their eyes are not really messy, I just put a drop in each eye without wiping. I usually follow with a treat to distract them if they try to wipe their eyes.

Keep This on Hand

This is a great product to have in your pet care arsenal. My dog often gets hairs stuck on his eye. Eye washes didn't do the trick. I had to drench his eye several times to loosen the hair. He hated it. Just a drop or two of this product works like magic. I also use it for my cats. No one minds it, and I believe it is soothing for them.

Allergy eye drops for pets

I have to have these on hand for my dog with allergies. I know how irritated my eyes get during allergy season and he itches his eyes worse. His eyes get red and mucky. He itches. I put these drops in every few days and he gets so much relief. The red eye also goes down. Its nice to have on hand in winter when the air is dry too.
