My Bailey eye started mattering. I looked up the reviews, and this seem to be the best. Bailey had to go to the Vets for his arthritis, and I took the Optixcare with me and question on what he thought, and he and the Tech agreed this was a good product to put into his eyes. I started it that night and saw big difference within a day or two. I try to remember to put one drop a day to keep his eyes lubricated. He doesn't mind after a couple times. Yes, I definitely recommend

This clear eye ointment is a God sent for me to have on hand for many dogs I have shared my life with. I rescue blind..elderly and handicapped dogs and keep them till Heaven calls them. Without this product I know they would have suffered pain and I simply will not allow that when such a wonderful ointment is available from Chewy! Ask your vet about it! Colby had to have one eye removed due to disease...when I got him

Last year, my Goldendoodle began to have the 'gunk' in both her eyes. I tried regular people moisture drops and they were ok but I was still having to clean out her eyes every morning. The vet tested her with the paper strips and said it was more 'dry eye' than allergies. I tried the gel he recommended found at a big box store; it wasn't as good as the moisture drops. I thought I would try this gel and so far after three days, it is good. Her eyes even look better. I had to remove just a little bit of 'gunk' one of the days so I am pleased with this product. As per another review, it does come out fast so I am practicing with only one drop so as not to be wasteful. My dog doesn't mind these thick drops at all. I will continue to purchase this product.

I only need 1 drop per eye for our lab. This gel product flows so fast, globs, that it’s uncontrollable for small droplets. If you’re rubbing on the outside of the eyes, and need a lot- go for it. But if you need a drop at a time, I’d skip it. Will not re-order. Human eye drops without preservatives work better.

if it were only easier to actually get one drop. The brand suggests squeezing slowly - seriously?? its hard enough to have my dog holding still when I have to do 2 eyes and he knows whats coming. who has time for a gentle slow squeeze. The product tube should really be refined to allow only one drop to dispense at a time. i have wasted so much of this expensive gel. sometimes a huge blob comes out which is scary for the dog and such a waste of product.

My kitten sesame has an eye condition and we need to give her eyedrops 2x a day to keep her eyes lubricated. These were recommended by the vet and they work great for us! The dropper is very easy to control the amount that comes out vs. other eye products we’ve used.

At first Bacon didn’t like having it put in her eyes but once her eyes started feeling better she didn’t mind it. That is a good thing as she did go to the vet and was diagnosed with Pannus so she will be getting medication in her eyes for the rest of her life
